Hotel Tropical Park

If you are looking for a very quiet, clean hotel then this is for you. We enjoyed our stay here and other than sleep being disturbed by noise from other rooms had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. Positives: The hotel is exceptionally clean everywhere. The one bedroom apartment was spacious and very well equipped. All of the staff are friendly and do a great job. The food is varied and well cooked. Lots of very tasty dishes and desserts. Quiet location. No drunken behaviour Negatives: There are a lot of stairs and only one lift by reception. The rooms have poor sound insulation, you hear ever child run, every toilet flush, every door shut, every loud conversation. The only escape would be to book a room on the fourth floor, if you are fit enough for the stairs! The bar shuts early at 945pm and they turn all of the lights off at 10pm. they effectively put you to bed at that time as there is nowhere to go other than your room. No evening entertainment. The hot food is often cold, need to look at warming plates. There is nowhere for children to play in the evening so they tend to run around feral, chasing each other. Mind you this also says a lot about lack of parenting. The fitness room is in a squash court with no free weights.

I had the misfortune of staying at Tropical Park Hotel, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. The staff were incredibly rude and dismissive, treating us as though we were an inconvenience rather than guests. The food was absolutely inedible, both in terms of quality and taste. To make matters worse, my wife and I suffered from food poisoning after eating at the hotel’s restaurant, which ruined the rest of our stay. Reception staff were completely dismissive and said it was not their problem and became very aggressive. This was hands down one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve ever had. Save your money and book elsewhere—this place isn’t worth the hassle or risk to your health.

Overall it’s clean and comfortable…the gardens are well kept & there are two swimming pools….there is a Supermarket virtually on site & a great bar across the road called Nebula….the food in the Hotel is ok but I found it got cold quickly…the biggest issue is the steps….lots of them! Go and see for yourself…

I’d stayed in this resort before, but couldn’t get in the original hotel of choice. We had seen this hotel, and after a bit of reviewing it, we booked it. We were not disappointed. The hotel and suites are fabulously clean. The cleaners were in every day. I saw the cleaners cleaning anything that didn’t move around the hotel. It was great to see. The suites are extremely well stocked with kitchen gadgets, a great kettle and coffee maker ( need filters) were all we needed being on half board. A large fridge freezer too. We were pleased to have decent sized mugs too. Great comfortable sofa, TV with numerous channels, including some English. Balcony was a nice size, we could sit four of us comfortably. The bathroom had a small but decent hairdryer and decent towels. The bedroom had an area for hanging clothes, we asked for more hangers which were provided very quickly. Oddly there was only one (mirrored) door that slide over two of the spaces. There is a keypad safe in this area, which there was no cost for. The restaurant was interesting. For the first few days we had really good hot food breakfast and evening meal. This is why I’m not giving 5 out of 5. There was a great choice of food, and when it was hot it was good, but sadly when it was cold it wasn’t too good. There seemed to be themed meals in the evening. There was plenty of choice of main courses and also sweets. Breakfast was also a good choice of food, including porridge which was nice, fruit, cereals the usual fried breakfast, cheeses, meats and breads. It’s a pity that the cold food let meals down. There were two pools. The one near the bar/restaurant is heated, and was warm. The other one, let’s say was damn cold! However this pool was quieter away from the children. Various activities in the day, but no evening entertainment. There is the laundry area, washing machine which is handy if needed. It’s next to the stage almost. Yes the hotel has lots and lots of stairs and no lift (the lift available only takes you from reception area to pool/restaurant area. It’s not good for those with mobility issues, although there are some more accessible rooms. The area is a quieter area, with a couple of supermarkets down the hill. There is an area of bars and restaurants over the road, down the hill, with a variety of different restaurant. Some very good ones. There isn’t much in the way of walks, you can walk along the coast into Playa Parasio, the next resort. It’s a windy route, but worth it. There is a small shopping centre there and a larger hipadino supermarket. Two buses run through, 471 and 473. They go from down past Nebula, yes, just down the hill. 471 starts in Callao Salvaje onto Play Parasio, Adele onto Los Cristianos. The 473 runs from Los Cristianos, Adele. Callao Salvaje onto Los Gigantes. My friend rented a bicycle to go off cycling the mountains. The bike point was just over the road at the hotel opposite. The staff were all friendly and helpful, we

Great hotel everything you need within one place! We have stayed in village numerious times & by far the best. Food was great, rooms very modern and spacious! Nice peaceful small for our kids to play whether it’s at pool, park or kids toy room! They have branded drinks for all inclusive just ask for what you like, snack bar open certain hours throughout the day just ask bar staff for the menu if restaurant closed. Laundrette for washing and drying clothes only 5€. Pool table, air hockey, darts & other games available. We have 2 small children & felt they have everything we need to keep entertained! There is also a quiet pool plus hot tub to use if wanted some peace. Honestly cannot fault the place we were so happy with it. We have stayed in village loads it is quieter in comparison to other parts of Tenerife but if you want a nice holiday with your kids to chill this is the place to go! The rooms have been recently modernised also so very nice have everything including iron/board hairdryer British tv channels WiFi etc. Rooms are cleaned everyday with fresh towels etc so nice. Don’t want to go home

First of all the food it started off good then after the first week the food just went horrible same stuff cooked they don’t know the difference between squid rings and onion rings Second hotel was well out from the other hotels no path to get a double seater scooter back to the hotel They say on there site for jet 2 they hire out manual wheelchairs when I went to hire a manual wheelchair from them they directed me to the white folder shouldn’t advertise that they don’t do Clean rooms every day free safes not a lot of taxis about got to hire one or take the bus lot of shops closed when we came to that part of Tenerife round about the hotel I’m guessing due to Covid run them out of business wouldn’t be coming back to this hotel
