Hotel Ereza Mar - Adults Only

Excellent Service , however be aware that i purchased through trip.com the hotel did try to charge me an extra £100 euros , because the deal i paid for wasn’t the price set by the hotel, however after the Receptionist spoke to the manager , they honoured the price i paid , all in all from start to finish took about 20 mins , the Room with a sea view was absolutely stunning, i thought the room had no electric , however a quick pop to the desk explained that the key card you use to get into the room goes into a slot in the entrance way to turn it on , ( quick suggestion to the hotel maybe explain this when you give out the room cards ) Having stayed in a different hotel previously i didn’t know what to expect , i’m happy to say i will be back , its at least 2/3 minutes walk to the beach , has disabled access which is great , lifts are in the lobby to allow higher floors, they have a chill out zone thats open from 9am which has rooftop jacuzzi’s ,sauna and stunning views over the sea , it also has two pools one inside the complex and another outside, The breakfast while inconvenient at times having to go downstairs to eat, ( they do have room service however at €10 was not something i wanted to pay personally it was a nice touch though ) was plentiful to say the least they had a large variety to cater to everyone . The receptionist were brilliant even with a slight language barrier , some are multilingual in any event , my advice learn some words in Spanish helps a lot ! The Room itself was absolutely spotlessly cleaned , fresh towels and bedding changed daily by the cleaners , with little heart chocolate’s was a nice surprise one slight issue for me unless you want to be woke up at 8/9am with the drinks bar i would fully use the do not disturb sign , The hotel has a massage and therapy i used the 2 hour service and both the husband and wife are an excellent edition to the hotel , they cater to a range of injuries , we even joked that my back was as hard as wood , they worked in tandem and gave one of the best massages i have ever had and i’ve had quite a few over the years. There are quite a few places to eat , however the restaurant which is about 1 minute walk from the hotel has the most amazing staff and the food is great, the prices are reasonable to. Now i know this is an adult only hotel so i was expecting the hotel to be loud in the evenings until the early hours , and while this was at the end of June 2024 i heard little in the way of noise passed 1am. Being the night owl having the sea view and listening to the sound of the waves at 1/2/3 am in the morning is the most peaceful i have felt , thank-you Ezra Mar for the Wonderful Memories. All in all it was an Excellent stay , I Will be back thats for sure , Thanks to all the cleaners and staff at the hotel , what a pleasurable experience.

Unfortunately our stay at Ereza Mar was not that of a 4 star hotel, we were so disappointed as we had heard and seen many wonderful things. The hotel and rooms its self are beautiful and so clean the cleaning staff should be proud of that. Danny the bartender was amazing and Siad for the entertainment was also fantastic. However, the food was mediocre often cold, lacked variety at breakfast there was a lack of change there was only waffles & pancakes available once a week there were no pastries or variety of yoghurts or cereal etc. The food could often be undercooked or the same as lunch and dinner the meat would just be in a different sauce so would the veggies. The beef in particular was very dry and couldn’t be chewed. It was very disappointing for the price we paid to end up having to eat out as I know many other guests did too. Even regular guests who had visited numerous times stated this was the worst it had ever been, there was no themed nights like usual. Don’t get me wrong we know everybody’s experience is different but when over 20 people have stated the same thing over the same week there is a clear issue. Nobody should have to microwave there food when spending this type of money on a holiday. The cocktail machine was horrible very sweet, the coffee machine tasted burnt. These minor changes regarding the food and drinks could make this hotel a 5 star! The bar staff were understaffed and rushed of there feet often, leading to people waiting over 30 minutes then being charged as there all inclusive had ended by this point by a couple of minutes. We understand this hotel is for adult only and to be quiet is fair but to be screamed at abruptly and aggressive from a member of staff the balcony to the entertainment area at at 11:45 for a 10 minute warning when the bar doesn’t close till 12pm was very unsettling and uncomfortable. Then for the same member of staff to come down and scream at people directly to go to bed rather than requesting in a nice mannerism was the most upsetting part of all of our stay. There is a way to speak to people and that certainly was not it. There was no music being played or drinking just generalised chatting. Especially when there was a lady below reception was kicking doors and screaming two night in a row having a domestic he didn’t even flutter an eyelid. It is so unfortunate as this hotel could be amazing as the amenities and cleanliness is there. The people you meet there are lovely but these things stated have affect all of our stay which wasn’t a good start or end to our holiday.

This hotel is very clean and well looked after and is very conveniently situated on the sea front and close to all amenities, The staff, by and large are very helpful and friendly, a special mention here to Loraina at the day bar. We were all inclusive and the food whilst being plentiful wasn't that spectacular. The drinks, beer and spirits seemed a bit watered down, but that could be just me. THe bar situation was a bit strange as we could only order 2 drinks at a time and there was only ever one barman serving at any time. This reulted in very long queues, particularly in the evening, and there was also a cut off point for the inclusive drinks at 11pm, after which we had to pay, Be warned, all the sun loungers are usually claimed by 7.30am, Towels were draped over them with some guests not using them until after lunch. For us the biggest annoyance was and still is that the jet2 details of the hotel state this is only a 160 room hotel and as we wanted a small hotel, booked it on this basis. However on arrival we found that it has in fact over 360 rooms......quite a big difference!

We booked a junior suite it was ok, clean but not perfect few things missed in the bathroom. We were only b&b but after the 1st breakfast never went back. The biggest issue at this hotel is the sun-bed situation, all beds are gone by 7.30am so the only option is to queue for the roof terrace. The roof terrace would be amazing if they had infinity pools not hot tubs which you don’t need in hot weather. Just not enough loungers for the size of the hotel and the hotel say they don’t let you reserve them but they don’t follow through with this. Getting up between 6am and 7am to get a bed is not a holiday for the beds not to be sat on til well after breakfast. The resort is tired, dirty and full of curry houses and china shops, it was not very appealing for us unfortunately but each to their own.
