Perfect holiday experience at this hotel. We requested a double bed (rather than twins pushed together) 3 months before we even arrived, upon checking in we saw the staff had given us a wonderful pool view room with a double bed. Great service! Every member of staff is really helpful and friendly, they work extremely hard and go above and beyond for the guests. The pool bar is sooo cheap considering the brilliant quality of the food, drinks were cheaper still and the breakfast buffet selection was endless. So many options for everyone and lovely staff again. The pool area was pristine and so pretty, the pool is cold but that’s a welcome relief after the hot sun! Jacuzzi was awesome and the hotel entertainment was great. The location of the hotel is fab and the check in/out experience is so efficient. We can’t wait to stay here again!

We have just returned from a week at GHT balmes and we have honestly had a very plesent experiance - One of the cleanest hotels we have ever stayed at! - we were half board breakfast had pleanty of choices from ceral, fry up, cold meats, baked goods and more. Dinner again one of the best hotels weve stayed at there was not 1 night where there was the same there were always options for kids (chips, chicken nuggets, pasta, fish fingers) they did have a spanish night, burgers, paella good for fussy eaters as there eas always something. - staff were nice and helpful on reception - pool bar was well priced for food and was very good quality we ate there everyday - rooms are clean and fresh bed was comfy - location, is close to beach shops and trian station all withing a 5 min walk and very flat! Only down falls were - half board meal times were 0730-0930 and 1930-2130 which in my opinion is quite late and people with children did struggle with the timings. - shower was very on and off very hot and cold - the pools are FREEZING all the children end up in the jucuzzi as its the only bareable place for them to go - the staff at the pool bar were nice but i did find i would often be stood being the only person waiting to be served and they would be stood chatting and wouldnt acknowledge i was there for around 5 mins Overall this was a great holiday and the downfalls mentioned are minor in comparison to the great things about this hotel i would reccomend for anyone to come here. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Lovely place, very clean, kids splash wonderful, ok prices for food and drinks, lovely entertainment. Unless you have an autistic child who doesn’t like eating with others around, i was refused to eat on the other side of the seating area, even if there were empty. They didn’t consider my child’s needs, i had to go outside of the hotel to eat everytime. Other thing i have some crazy bites on my legs, it was definitely something in the mattress, me and my daughter have it. Apart of this lovely place, I would go back. Very quite, you can actually sleep at night. They charge deposit on your arrival, you will get it back when you leave.

Hotel in a quieter area of the resort with some noise from local traffic, kids, animals in early mornings. Check in was easy and staff friendly. Bedrooms were basic and cleaned daily, however walls were paper thin and next doors occupants could be heard snoring in the night, talking on their phones and using the toilet. A great base to explore nearby Girona and Barcelona on the train which was easy to do. Breakfast was good with a good amount of choices. The bar was reasonably priced for drinks. Not great weather meant pool was not used by us on this occasion, but looked OK.

We had an excellent holiday here last week, with our son and his 2 year old daughter. She very much appreciated the soft play area- useful for letting off steam, and also the children's pool, although the water was very cold in the pool- it was much warmer in the sea! The rooms were good- comfortable beds, excellent house keeping. A very nice, small balcony. Everything was very clean. The meals were excellent. There were vast quantities of food and we had far too much choice. An excellent variety and nicely presented. We appreciated the fresh fruit at breakfast and dinner. The food was replenished constantly and the staff were very friendly, understanding and patient towards all the children. This was very much appreciated as mealtimes with a toddler could be stressful. All the staff were lovely to deal with- they were always helpful and welcoming to all of us. We really appreciated this. We needed an extra room after my husband was unwell one night, and the staff on reception the following day were very sympathetic and arranged the extra room at a good price, very close to the rest of the family. It was an excellent holiday all round
