Club Simó

We were in block 4, we arrived at midnight and initially I found it odd we had to walk up the road to get to our apartment. However, I think we had the best block as it was quieter than the main complex but we still had access to all the facilities in the main block. The separate pool by our apartment had only around 5 families use at a time so was relaxed, also there was a dedicated bar for drinks and snacks throughout the day. The shallow "toddler" pool was especially good for my 2 children aged 3 and 4. All staff within the hotel were especially helpful towards us and we could pay for a late checkout as our flight was in the evening. The food was especially good, lots of choice and I felt that they catered for children especially well as well as lots of options for adults. The apartment was cleaned most days and towels replaced if required, and we enjoyed having a small balcony attached. We visited the evening entertainment just one night and the kids disco was great (but mainly german speaking) and then there was belly dancing which was great, it was busy but there were barmen/women walking around and we had drinks brought to our table instead of going to the bar. This hotel is a 5 minute walk to shops and restaurants, and the beach is also nearby. There was a market one day that was a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Overall, the price was good and I would recommend to families.

We enjoyed our vacation time. The rooms are a bit older but fine and very tidy. The price is very good for what you get. Only the food offer is just okay. The staff and animation team was very friendly. The sports possibilities are amazing. If the food range would be a bit wider this hotel should have 4 stars.

I highly recommend Simo Aparthotel. We spent there 14 nights. (2 adults and child - 14 yo) The food was always great, lots of choice and variety. Food delivered on a regular basis, nothing was ever missing. The staff was always friendly and greeted us with a smile. The room and bathroom are clean, impeccable. We just back from our holidays at Club simo. I have to say we had a lovely time there. The staff was super friendly. Food was very good and had a big selection you can find something for everyone. We took half board so i cannot say anything about the lunch an the snack, but breakfast and the dinners were very tasty. Restaurant staff were cleaning the tables all the time, which was bit strange for me at the beginning as I am not used to someone will keep my table clean all the time. when we fined eating something the waiter was taking the empty plate straight away. Have to say reception staff were very friendly and helpful as well. We want to see cuevas del drach (family of 4) so we check many options. We have asked if we can book the trip at the reception (€51 each so €204 in total).The lovely lady at the reception, do not remember her name gave us the map and advice to use public bus which was just 5 minutes away from the hotel and the last stop was just by the cuevas, so you can not missed it and buy just the tickets at the place (advice to buy them online in advance to make sure you on the trip same day and the time you would like) in total for all we paid €62 for the entrance and the return tickets. Cleaning staff - please note there is 5 days in the week cleaning service, which is perfect who need the cleaning of the room on the day of arrival. Even with that our room was clean daily and even on the departure day as we had late check-out (we paid €25 to stay till 4p.m that day)as our flight was late at night. i am glad we could do that so we can put our smallone for a nap as usual. the only minus was the room. I mean the location was good as it was in the main building, but it wasn't renovated and you could get the smell of mould from the build in wardrobe in the bedroom (like in the old damp houses). other then that I will highly recommend the hotel. Close to beach just 5 minutes walking. Aldi is just 3 minutes away. Lots of lovely restaurants nearby. Close to all the restaurants and bars but not so close so you would have peace and quiet at night, what was what we were looking for.

This hotel exceeded exceeded our expectations. Positives: The bar staff and the dining staff are professional, welcoming and friendly. They are always smiling and willing to help. This creates a positive and warm environment throughout the hotel. The food for a 3 star is fantastic. We went All Inclusive and we were beyond impressed! The food was always hot with plenty of choice for breakfast, lunch and tea. The children were happy with their choices everyday too. For breakfast they had pancakes, eggs, bacon, hash browns, croissants, yoghurt, fruit etc. For lunch/ tea we had options like salmon, chicken skewers, burgers, fish, chicken nuggets, chips, potatoes, veg, steak etc. The rooms were adequate for what we needed and they were cleaned frequently. The hotel is only a 10 minute walk to the beach. There is plenty to do and plenty of shops in the location and we had lots of fun throughout our stay! The Animation team were fantastic throughout our stay too. They provided lots of games (darts, water polo, shuffle board, shooting, volleyball) etc. to keep the kids and adults entertained! Entertainment at night was okay too! The Animation team put on a fantastic Music Quiz! They also had Flamenco dancers, acrobats, bingo and singers during our stay. For a stay in the middle of August, there are no fights for sun-beds. Even if we headed to the pool at 10am (which is when it opens) there were always 4 sun beds free. What could be better/ tips for arrival? The two pools within the main block are very deep. It is worth bringing a life jacket/ armbands etc for your child if you are anxious or worried about swimming. There are no labels on any of the food choices. This made it a little tricky to know what to choose! Overall, a fantastic stay. Well done Club Simo!
