Apartamentos Vista Blanes

Fabulous pool area, nice food available from the snack bar/restaurant, fair prices. Apartments close to the beach/cove, one supermarket 7 mins walk away. Not a lot else close by, so we walked 20 mins each evening to Cala n Forcat, where there are great restaurants etc. Apartments v,basic and dated, but clean, towels changed once during our stay. No AC, like staying in a little hot box , we faced the road so no way we could have the window open overnight, lots of traffic noise, ceiling fan noisy. We had little sleep! Our son slept fine in the louge area with good patio doors and a fan. Very noisy, as thin walls and not everyone is considerate. Nice balcony to sit out on. We loved the pool, but wouldn't stay here again. Some of the staff are unfriendly, it was quite off putting to be fair. Resort is lovely but these apartments need upgrading and AC adding.

Last day of our fourth holiday here but haven't been for about 11 years. Happy to say it's a lovely was we remember it was. All the staff from the receptionists to the bar staff are fantastic.some have been here 20 years. The rooms are basic but fully functional and clean.ideally could do with some Aircon units but shut the blinds and leave the fans on its adequate. Sorry to see the on site shop had shut but the pool area is still fabulous with plenty of bedchairs available throughout the day. Plenty of great places to eat not too far away..... L'Ancora,Mr Pebs,Impar and Pirates Cove bar all really good. The Indian next to Jimmy Hills and the Chinese off the dolphin roundabout excellent too. There's a small shop 5 minutes walk away for the essentials and the larger Talyot shop about 15mins walk away for everything else. If you're used to 5* all inclusive it probably isn't the place for you but is perfect for families who are a little more adventurous and want to try the various eateries during their stay. All in all a great time away and the weather was fabulous every day. We'll definitely return in the future.... Thankyou Vista Blanes.

I have stayed at this hotel before and genuinely love it for a cheap basic holiday…pool good, staff friendly, apartment clean….I’m a solo traveler and due to this being slightly out of town it is safe and quiet too. I will be returning I’m sure!

We had a 2 bedroom apartment in Block 2 (2303) and it's one of the biggest apartments I've stayed in. Don't go expecting luxury and lavish surroundings and you can't go wrong. It is listed as a 2* (or key) apartment and I can honestly say I have stayed in far worse 3*+ hotels. The rooms had the usual red pine furniture that is the norm in Spain especially with budget accommodation, a small but perfectly functional kitchenette in the living area which has a small balcony, two good size bedrooms ( one std and one huge with it's own massive balcony) and two separate good size bathrooms. The mattresses were very firm though. I last stayed here in July 2013 and I found the rooms to be stifling in the summer heat without air conditioning, but this time I found the ceiling fans efficient enough in the milder September weather. I loved the location of these apartments ( I usually stay in the Hotel Cala'n Blanes a few minutes away on the other side of the bay, but decided to go self catering this time instead of all inclusive). There's a lovely pool with a reasonably price and well stocked bar, and the beach is only about a 5 minute walk away (check out the Pirates cove bar on the beach. Great fun and amazing hosts). Cala'n Forcat (or Los Delfines as it's also known) is a 15-20 minute walk away where there are plenty of bars and restaurants- although there are more and more empty and boarded up places every year so it is starting look very run down. Half an hour in the other direction is Ciutadella, which is a beautiful city and you can easily get to any other resort on the island from there. Would definitely stay here again out of season. We had no issues, enjoyed the space (worth the bit extra for the 2 bed apartment) and found it to be very clean and the staff very welcoming.

Unless you walk 20 minutes into Los Delphines there are no shops. We got the bus there from the supermarket near Mr Peds for 1.05 euro. Two stops. Plenty of shops and Indian, Chinese, Mexican restaurants. The bus outside the apartments takes you to Cuiadella for 1.80 Euro. Well worth a visit. Pool bar menu not very exciting. Lasagne was served cold in the middle. Always plenty of sun beds. Apartments were fine. No English tv channels. Wi-Fi very good. Staff lovely, especially on reception.

Honestly it's down as a 2 star however it's absolutely fantastic. Bar area great bar staff brilliant. Food great .pool is exceptionally clean and perfect..rooms have everything you need fridge cooker kettle microwave. Rooms immaculate and very clean .Honestly it's a perfect place and location
