Amazing staff, super helpful. We missed our transfer to the airport and they got us transport to the airport in time for our flight. Hotel itself is gorgeous, and the location couldn’t be more perfect. We had an amazing time here, would definitely recommend

VERY HONEST REVIEW-DONT PAY FOR EVENING MEALS My partner and I have just returned from a week at the Prinsotel. Here are our very honest pros and cons: PROS: the hotel was nice, we stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment, the bed was very comfy and the room was nice and clean. The hotel is in a good location to the coves and cala d'or restaurants and bars. The breakfast was good and the pool area was clean. The pool towels are free and can be changed daily. It is good for families with small children, but that's were it ends... CONS: DO NOT BOOK the evening meals, the dinners were very limited in choice and the same each night, we were VERY disappointed so ended up eating out for half of the holiday. Also, my partner was unwell from the meat he had eaten there (we are always very careful being abroad, we drink bottled water) and when I told the manager my partner had been ill, he just said "can I get you a doctor" and "there had been no other complaints". Totally dismissive! There is a main pool (which is absolutely jam packed with kids) so not much room to swim, there are 2 smaller water areas, in seperare parts of the grounds, so all spaced out, it's like a complex with a road inbetween. The entertainment in the day was reasonable, but awful in the evening. It was nightmare to get a sunbed!!!!!! People were putting towels on the beds in the evening, as the beds were full when we got up at 6.30am each day to put our towels out. Most of the time guests had left the hotel pool towels on the beds and never turned up through the day, leaving some sunbeds unused, which was very unfair on guests who actually went to the pool area and were unable to get one. Really poor management of this hotel. I would NOT recommend this hotel if you are a couple or family with older children and are looking for a chilled area to relax and enjoy nice food and entertainment. Cala dor is lovely though, so be cautious about what hotel you choose and consider B&B and eat out each evening, as there are so many restaurants to choose from.

Best hotel in cala d’Or! Nice people work there, perfect breakfast, perfect kis’s club with fantastic animation team. Visited more than 6 times! Really recommend it for families, perfect location, Clean apartments, perfect pools and a very good pool bar. They know How to make good sangria :)

We arrived on Monday evening around 11:30pm and had an issue with our initial room. We were provided room 512 and noticed that there was a collection of bugs coming out of a crack in the ceiling. (Photo’s attached at the end of the review.) We immediately went to reception and one of the members of staff who was on shift and showed him the photographs of the wall. He immediately apologised and sorted us with a new room instantly. Unfortunately, we didn’t get his name but he was an absolute star sorting us out so quickly and with so much ease. Our new room had absolutely no faults and we had a lovely stay in 822. The beds were super comfortable and very large. We were a party or 3 girls in their 20’s and the room was the perfect size for all of us. Our only gripe was that there was no sink within the main “kitchen” area but we assumed this was due to us selecting “room only” when we booked and not “self catering.” This hotel is definitely catered towards families with young children. However, as girls in their 20’a who wanted a relaxing, chilled holiday, we still thought this hotel was lovely and all round, very clean. There is plenty of activities throughout the day lead by the entertainment team who were very friendly and did their best to get people involved. The water carpet activity definitely gave us some laughs. The pool area is slightly small, given the size of the hotel and volume of guests, it can be a little crowded in the pool and around it. We found that it was difficult to get a subbed if you weren’t out by 9am at the latest. There was always spare loungers that were stacked in various points around the pool but finding a spare spot and an umbrella was a challenge for some. However, as early risers, we didn’t have this issue. The hotel had a lot of amenities such as a food truck which sold a variety of foods and sweet treats - the crepes were absolutely delicious and the main restaurant and bar area had plenty of choice too! Special shout out to the frozen daiquiris and the club sandwich (one of the best i’ve ever had.) All the staff were lovely, friendly and attentive when needed. The was a luggage room at check out (12pm) and showers available for changing.

I would definitely recommend this hotel as a destination for a family holiday. Its proximity to local beaches and Cala d’or town made it perfect for our family trip. The hotel itself is set in nice grounds with lots of greenery and flowers that were well kept whilst we were there. The hotel is clean and the food is very good, lots of selection at breakfast and reasonably priced tasty food by the pool. The staff made it for us, they were great with us and our 2 sons during our stay. The bar staff and entertainment team in particular worked very hard day and night but were always extremely friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Shout out to Dahiro who along with his team worked very hard to keep the children and adults entertained, without it being too overbearing like in some other places we’ve been to. A great stay and would return.

We had a great stay at Prinsotel Alba. Everything was absolutely amazing- the big variaty of food, the spa, the animation team and entertainment for the kids, the pool games and the kind staff. My boy enjoyed the kids club, he had so many activities and Maria and Julia were super nice and caring. The lady at the coffee section was so nice! We are looking forward to going back there next year!
