Hotel Sabina Playa

We stayed here for 3 nights and can honestly say it’s one of the best we have stayed in. The hotel itself is modern, clean, great swimming pools with one of the pools being a small dip pool on the rooftop with panoramic views. The staff are very friendly and can’t do enough for you. The rooms are very spacious, with great beds, bathroom facilities and a nice cold mini fridge. You can get a decent iron from reception too. I would recommend the sea view room, always nice to get a good view when having a chill on the balcony. Thank you for an amazing experience.

I had a poor experience at this hotel. The mattress was terrible, with a noticeable dip in the middle, making me feel like I was sinking. The room was not properly cleaned, and the hand soap wasn’t replaced, so I had to request it. Additionally, communication in English was very limited, which made it difficult to get help when needed. Food was good. Overall, I was disappointed with my stay and expected better quality and service.

I am staying at this hotel from 8th August to 22nd and so far I cannot fault the place. It is a great place to stay and central to CALLA MILLOR and CALLA BONA. The hotel is very clean and well maintained. The staff are brilliant and very polite and helpfull.The food is really good and the rooms are very modern and cleaned every day. The staff are a credit to the company, I would just like to mention the staff in the dining room and the bar especially Carlos.Antonio.Jeorge.and Cesar who have been exceptional with the service they have given me and no doubt other guests thank you my new amigos. On arrival not greeted with a warm welcome, hotel is pretty soulless. Rooms are clean and beds comfy. There is a kettle but no drink sachets or spoon on offer! Water on arrival but not refilled daily or glasses or cups cleaned. Pool towels are only available with a deposit and if you want them changed you have to pay 1 Euro each towel . Safe in room is charged daily too! Entertainment provided is beyond embarrassing to say the least!! Breakfast everything you would expect from a buffet. Barman Carlos; smiley and wanted to please unfortunately Jose Marie was charging for drinks you hadn’t had! (Made me think if this happens to 1 in 5 customers someone is making money) The description of the hotel as being opposite to the beach is a little deceiving as it is a good 10 minute walk in either direction, one beach is packed like sardines and the other quite stoney and there are rocks in the sea you can’t see. Other hotels in the immediate vicinity offer much more especially in entertainment and good vibes. We have stayed in many a 4 star hotels and unfortunately this one is more a 3 star! I’m only taking the time to write this as I feel when youre making a choice for your holiday it’s nice to have a clear picture of what youre getting.

This hotel was amazing. Booked through easy jet as a package holiday, flights and transfers included which were efficient and trouble free. The hotel is gorgeous, two pools, one being a rooftop pool. Never any trouble getting a sun lounger by either pool. Bar right next to the pool to get drinks, cocktails were cheap and amazing. We booked bed and breakfast which was great, good selection of meats, cooked breakfast, cereal, fresh cooked eggs etc. plenty of restaurants nearby which were great, so close to the Cala Bona marina which was beautiful, 5 min walk to a great beach with loads of sun beds and beachside lunch and dinner places. Overall a great experience, rooms cleaned every day with fresh towels provided, amazing service from staff, couldn’t recommend enough!

Overall, we had a good experience at the Sabina Playa Hotel. The location is great, just a 5 minute walk to the beach. The staff were all friendly. The rooms were always clean and nice. Prices weren’t terrible at the bar either. The food at teatime is varied, but all good food. There is a problem however at mealtimes, when food runs out, it isn’t replenished quick enough. This is mainly a problem at breakfast, which in turns makes the food cold. The show cooking chef did not appear at breakfast one morning for half an hour, when the food needed replenishing. The lunchtime is basic, but good for a quick bite. The hotel is exceptionally clean, with no rubbish overflowing from bins. On the whole, we had a very good time here, with only minor complaints.
