KAÑIK Apart Hotel

Ein wunderschönes, kleines Hotel mitten im Regenwald (man hört und sieht Brüllaffen, Vögel und vieles mehr), und nur win paar Schritte von einen traumhaften Strand entfernt. Zum nächsten Dorf mit ein paar Restaurants kann man am naturbelassenen Strand entlang laufen. Traumhaft! Das Zimmer bzw Bungalow war sehr sauber und sehr gut eingerichtet und das Team um Sebastian und Javier sind sehr zuvorkommend. Jederzeit wieder!

Situated down a track just off the main highway, these lovely boutique lodges (opened late 2023) have everything you need. A well equipped kitchen area, fridge, air-con and cotton sheets, I was very happy. Sebastian, our onsite host, was delightful, so friendly and helpful. There a a couple of nearby restaurants for the evening or you can self-cater. The "Caribbean toast" breakfast, served on our private patio area, was delicious. It was so peaceful there. With a warm pool and loungers in a stylish gated garden, you can relax with the sound of nature all around you and see plenty of wildlife without moving! We saw frogs, lizards, butterflies, howler monkeys, toucans and other birds. There is a dedicated area on the beautiful beach, with wooden loungers and chairs in the shade of the trees (5 mins walk through a jungle path). The waves were too rough to swim when we were there, but standing in the warm sea was refreshing. We loved this place and wish we could have stayed a couple more days.

The facilities are new and in perfect condition. Attention to customers is however the real plus. The design of the place (especially the slitting areas outside each cabin) contributes to an overall feeling of being just at the right place...
