Hotel la Villa Del Mare

Lovely, small, intimate hotel with a 'little family' vibe in terms of being looking after by the four great managers. Great character this 'converted' Italian villa hotel. Beach just across the pedestrianised road and over ten great restaurants to choose from within walking distance.

Noemi, Adele and the rest of the staff were amazing. Because we were departing early, fresh fruit and yogurt was delivered to our room the night before. We stayed in the deluxe with sea front terrace and the room was spacious with a great view…ideal location, just 15mins by bus to Cagliari. Can’t wait to come back!!

I loved my experience at this hotel. The location is amazing, right in front of the beach and in a very nice part of the city, especially if you’re here to experience the sunny weather, the beach and some nice restaurants and bars. It’s also not far from the city centre. The rooms are super clean, nice decoration and very fresh. The staff is super lovely - some of the loveliest I’ve experienced.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Villa del Mare right on the promenade of Cagliari Poetto beach. Location is amazing with the beach right across the street. Most of all we love the decor of the rooms, the welcoming and peaceful small garden where you can enjoy some shade and the outdoor common terrace. The rooms have a modern decor, all is well kept and very clean. The reception team and all service team for the daily cleaning are very attentive and professional. We also enjoyed a great daily breakfast with lots of choices and all fresh products. We lodged in one of the apartments which fit our needs and have also a small kitchen area and an outdoor patio with table. I would highly recommend a stay here, for just 2-3 nights if you’re en route for a trip around Sardinia or for a longer stay as we did if you want to enjoy more of Cagliari and the Poetto beach, where you can do lots of sport, like windsurfing, canoeing, paddle board or bike rides or a run in the promenade, and then relaxing back at Villa del Mare. From the hotel, you can visit the city with an easy local bus ride. Thanks again to the team for a great stay (we are repeat customers in the summer!)

Apart from the beautiful location, this hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. The staff were friendly and professional l, there is a beautiful seating area at the entrance and sun beds in the garden. The room was lovely with plenty of space, which is rare in Italy. We had a room with a patio and views to the beach. This had a table and chairs and two sun beds. If you have a car, best to park near the church on via austonia as the road at the front of the hotel is mainly pedestrian which is lovely. You hear the sea not cars. I don’t normally mention cleanliness of hotels unless it is bad but this hotel is honestly the cleanest hotel I think I’ve ever stayed in. Immaculate!! I will remember my stay here forever. You will have no regrets staying here if you are visiting Cagliari.
