It was really awesome! Staff were friendly and the restaurant was nice!

Very friendly staff & helpful and I got upgraded to a King Garden room which was lovely. The restaurant meal we had was excellent and the pool area very relaxing! I was surprised with a bottle of Champagne in an ice bucket and a beautiful birthday card on my 60th birthday and my friend also received a birthday card for her birthday the following day!! It’s in walking distance to everything in Cable Beach with the bus stops in the street which was convenient for us! I totally recommend this Resort.

Had a fabulous meal at kimberley sands restaurant. The prawn toast were an amazing shared entree followed by succulent pork belly with paw paw salad which had just the right amount of lime, chilli and spices to work with the pork. Pre dinner cocktails in the garden were also very good well done Kimberley Sands for a memorable night

I’ve stayed here before and it was lovely. Some recent bad reviews almost made me rethink booking again…. Glad I didn’t read too much into them! Staff are amazing and engaged with customers Manager is new and aware of strengths and weaknesses of facility Pool… amazing! Obviously needs a regrout etc but I believe plans are underway with it’s possible removal in the future. Rooms are large, clean and well appointed Complimentary breakfast is very basic but hey it’s free! Perfect to fill you up before a tour however and they do also offer a chefs special if you want something more substantial. French chef….. best crème brûlée I’ve had in my life! Happy hour at the bar ✅ The venue is obviously getting a little old but it still feels luxurious and I highly recommend booking a stay here

My wife and I stayed at Kimberly Sands resort for 4 nights in mid-August. We enjoyed an unforgettable experience exploring Broome and surrounding areas. We loved everything about the resort. The accommodation was spacious, well-appointed and comfortable. The pool and surrounds are spotlessly clean and well-maintained…we enjoyed many cocktails in this lovely setting! The quality of the food & beverage service was outstanding…we enjoyed beautiful breakfasts and a couple of wonderful dinners. The level of customer service was consistently high from reception to catering to domestic staff! We had a truly memorable vacation and are more than happy to give Kimberly Sands resort our highest recommendation! We would stay there again without hesitation!

We enjoyed our stay here and the hotel was nicely located (very near Cable Beach but not too near, and near a nice little corner store which even does lunches) I was surprised that the lifts were not working (not much of an apology on the notices) - and that we hadn't been notified in advance. While we had an offer to help with luggage, many people wouldn’t be able to manage the stairs even with luggage being carried, so I don't know what would happen if they arrived and found there were no lifts! Our room - a pool view room - was spacious and the bed was fine. There’s a big desk and a sofa. The lighting was a bit dim; and all the surfaces were very high - not great for a shorter person. I couldn't even reach the top hanging rail in the wardrobe! On the other hand there was heaps of storage space in both the bathroom and the bedroom. I had forgotten, until glancing just now at another review reporting the same issue, that the toilet bowl was stained; when I reported it the reception person looked at me as though I was mad (no apology - but it was fixed that day!) We liked the pool, but I think for safety the location of the steps within the pool should be made visible from the pool itself. While not heated, the pool temperature was comfortable, despite being 'winter'. We ate in the restaurant one night, and although the ambience was lovely, the choice was limited and the food wasn't great. But it was OK. The breakfast is probably the weakest aspect. The continental breakfast is OK, but with some standard things missing, such as orange juice, and the bread for toast was stale; and you can have a meal cooked to order (but you won't necessarily get what you asked for - and all I got when I commented on an error was a shrug!) The breakfast staff when we were there were offhand and unhelpful, unlike nearly all the other staff at the hotel. I did enjoy seeing the tiny fans rotating above the plates on the buffet! If you eat breakfast outside, beware the birds who will swoop on your food if you are not there. In general we would return, but hope that the breakfast experience improves, and that the room cleaning is supervised (and that the lifts are fixed!) If you are a bit claustrophobic, go for a top floor room, as the copious vegetation, while delightful, obscures the view in front of some of the lower floor rooms overlooking the pool.

What makes this resorts so great? It’s the staff! From the moment we arrived until checkout, nothing was too much trouble. Reception, Bar, Kitchen, House Keeping, Maintenance and everyone in between were absolutely amazing. The hotel is really lovely. A great pool area where you can search out a bit of shade or sun, whichever you prefer. We ate at the restaurant and the food was amazing!!! Cocktails were pretty dang good as well. We found everything to be very reasonably priced. Thanks Kimberley Sands for making our stay so special.

chose the hotel next door as it seemed to get better reviews, what a mistake! our flight was cancelled and Qantas put us in here. the room was lovely the bathroom very modern the bed was fantastic and the air con worked it had a lovely outlook the only problem was the lift did not work they put us on first floor but the lovely girls art the desk were happy to help with getting the luggage up the stairs. the pool looks fantastic though we were only there a night the front desk staff has sa great attitude and we dined a the restaurant and though a small menu found something to our liking but beware there is a bit of chilli in a lot of things so ask and they will not put it in.margarita though not frozen was lovely though pricey.but then again everything for holiday makers in Broome is expensive this hotel deserves no 1 in the area.

We were pleasantly surprised by this gem, our room was spacious and well appointed - we had 2 large screen TV's and a lovely little sitting area inside and outside. The bed was great and we have a very comfortable nights sleep. The bathroom was lovely with a perfect sized bath to relax in. Staff were super delightful. Friendly and charming. The big surprise was the restaurant...we haven't had a steak that perfectly cooked for a while...and the oysters were sublime...the service was excellent and our table overlooked a romantic garden. The staff were attentive and provided faultless service - Felix, Natalia and Daniel looked after us. We will definitely return. We realise that the place has had a recent makeover. We travel a lot and this is truly world class.
