When we first arrived at the beach house at Ocam Ocam our reaction was that of pure awe. We were greeted with cold face towels freshly baked cookies but most importantly, smiles. The beach house is a beautiful space with impeccably considered decor in a stunning location. It was only in the first full day of our stay that we started to realise that this vacation resort was a lot more than its looks. The owners, Jess and Constantin (who we had the honour to meet during our stay) are natural hoteliers. They know the importance of the nuances and the details. The food is impeccable, I recommend the vegetarian eggs Benedict, the fish in crab fat sauce and of course, the freshly baked cookies with a generous scoop of divine home made ice cream. The cocktail list is confidently curated and the wine most certainly hit the right spot Reflecting on our stay at the beach house the stand out quality and the thing that has most impact is that the place has heart. The staff consists of local residents recruited because of their experience and their natural skill, they are attentive but not overly fussy. One of the staff members even gave us a cave tour on black island on his day off! Even the local island dogs are cared for and fed by the beach house staff- an extension of the kindness and hospitable nature of the team. We shall never forget our wonderful vacation in the Philippines but most of all we cherish the memory of our time at The Beach House, Ocam Ocam Thank you so much Jess (our mosquito fairy). Stunning property! I stayed in a beachfront villa for 2 nights which was absolutely gorgeous and couldn’t be more perfect. 5* for the lovely, friendly & welcoming staff. They are able to accommodate vegans 🌱 & vegetarians at the restaurant where I had all my meals. Highly recommend for a luxurious peaceful getaway in paradise!

We’ve just returned from this peace of paradise! It is as absolutely stunning as the photos show and if you’re looking for peace and quiet to recharge then this is the place to go to. Our accommodation was beautiful, huge bed, which was incredibly comfy and so very clean. We had the beach front room so we could just wander out of our door and be by the gorgeous pool or a few steps more and be on the beach. The food was superb and not overly pricey either. Plenty to choose from, the breakfast pancakes and Chicken adobo is divine! We took a Trip to black island which was very good and the diving out there is fab! We had booked 14 nights but, we did check out early as we wanted more to do once we were relaxed. We moved on to Coron.

The Beach House at Ocam Ocam is a gem with exceptional 5 star service. Even before I arrived, the communication was excellent, making me feel secure as a solo female traveler. The property and structure is beautifully crafted by a talented local foreman using native materials. The furnishings speak of laid-back island luxury and the bedding and towels were of great quality. As a person who must work even while on holiday, the fast and reliable WiFi was greatly appreciated. The beach itself is one of the best on the island that you can access by land. While it is quite far away from nightlife, I didn’t mind since that is typically what I prefer. Ocam Ocam is a special place, as are the people who call it home. The staff went above an BEYOND anything I could ever ask for. I can’t thank you all enough. The friendly dogs were an added welcomed bonus.

Beautiful relaxing location ideal setting fabulous staff . Rooms outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble for staff happy to organise and accommodate all our requirements. Nickolas and staff are very accomodating, the hotel organised transport from the airport and made our stay very welcoming! Would give Ocam Ocam beach house 11/10 stars and will definitely make the effort to come back.

Our host Nikolas and Gilbert / staff were fantastic, the location was private and the rooms were beautifully designed. Food was great, drinks were also great, and it was a fantastic place to retreat for relaxation. Thank you for a wonderful experience! Rubbish washing up on beach was next level - but the team are cleaning it up regularly. Small hotel so not very many people - we were there in a typhoon and still plenty to walk around and see nature wise.

How can we better end our 3 weeks holiday tour discovering beautiful Philippines 🇵🇭 and their lovely people. We found this pearl coincidentally by discovering the Island with our rented scooters. This is an Oasis at the end of a thee km gravelled path. Nicolas and his staff are doing their utmost to let you enjoy this stunning place with magnificent views. And Chef Zara for us was a three star Michelin Chef, conjured the most delicious dishes from her kitchen. And as my wife eats 100% plant based she really knew how to coop with that. All super delicious at a marvelous place. Next time when we do this island again, definitely will book this place for a few nights.

Perfect for when you want to go to Black Island (30 min. boat ride from this resort) Perfect ambiance, place is well designed with all the beautiful amenities down to the details. Owner is friendly but is quite intimidating and a bit condescending, friends I was with was uncomfortable as we are used to warm hospitality and service. Owner should leave guest reception to Filipino staff. Rooms are spacious but not airconditioned, but well compensated with warm sea breeze and ocean sounds. Shower has no doors so if that is something you are not comfortable with, the place is not for you. Accessible only if you have own car or rented van, rented vehicle preferrably to stay overnight since the place is far from the highway. Wifi is available but useless since signal in the area is close to nothing. Food bought from outside is not allowed. Food available in the resort are not that affordable considering its serving size.
