I stayed in room 101 for 2 nights. Due to bad planning, I was going to arrive late and well after the normal check-in hours. The owner was kind enough to stay up late to let me in. So kudos for that. The hotel is located about a 5 minutes walk to Nampo Station in the busy Jung-gu district. There are lots of dining and shopping options around here. The room had 2 bunks, a desk and chair and lockers for everyone. The centre of the room was surprisingly spacious considering this is South Korea. The bathroom was ensuite. A bit tight for space as the shower was right next to the toilet with not much space in between. The hotel provided shampoo, soap and towels for every night of the stay. The bed and mattress was pretty firm. Even firmer than normal Asian standards. It was uniformly firm, so I slept okay. The quilt was pretty light, but it was okay for me since I'm acclimatised to cooler weather. The owner said the AC unit could also act as a heater, but I was fine and the cooler weather probably helped me sleep better. There’s WiFi throughout the hotel and works well. Speed was fast and no trouble with connections. The layout of the hotel is a bit odd. There’s a reception and dining area, but all the chairs and dining tables were covered. There are photos of past guests dining though, so I hope these common areas will open again. Overall, I had a good stay. The owner is friendly, welcoming and helpful. The room was comfortable, the bathroom/toilet were clean. The unused areas are in the dark, so it does have a slightly unwelcoming feel. I didn’t stay long enough for it to really matter though.
