Hotel Vía Gótica

After 175 miles along the the Camino de Santiago, we stayed in Burgos for two days. Burgos is a magnificent town. We booked a private room at the Hotel Via Gotica with bathroom and view. The view from the window and balcony was incredible ... like looking across to the Disneyland Castle from a couple of hundred yards away! We enjoyed both the wonderful hot shower and good soak in the tub. The location was excellent. The magnificent Burgos cathedral was a few minutes walk as was the outstanding Evolution Museum. If you are traveling by bus, the bus station was located a couple of minutes walk from the hotel. The ground floor featured a cafe' for pastries, coffee or light meals. Many good restaurants can be found close by. We did not meet or interact with the staff much, but those we encountered were pleasant and helpful. No complaints for us.

Para visitar Burgos no necesitas nada más, localización envidiable, habitación pequeña pero cómoda, limpia y moderna, la atención de Angela en recepción muy buena, en la noche la otra chica fue muy atenta y simpática! Volveríamos sin pensarlo...

DESAYUNO PARA RICOS. Nos cobraron 8euracos por elegir entre caliente café o leche y del tiempo zumo de botella. Para acompañar napolitana o bocadillo pequeño o tostadas. Un cuñado que pidió zumo natural, tuvo que pagar aparte 3,30e porque en los 8euracos no le entraba. Total le costó la broma 11,30 un café solo, el zumo natural y un bocadillo pequeño de tortilla francesa. SOLO PARA RICOS
