So bad we left a day early. The swimming pool was a big factor in choosing Amore. It was closed and had been for some time.We should have been told. The rain forest boardwalk was roped off. The front door screen fell off. The hot water wasn't working when we arrived. No breakfast was available.Some compensation was given. Only half a roll of toilet paper was provided for four days,had to ask for more. The grounds were negected, palm fronds and leaves all over the roofs and pathways. Never again.

All I can assume, is this was once a lovely getaway, but has been neglected for a long time. Mould. Everywhere. Freezer iced over and defrosted our items. Flue in fire-place not working (charged additional $30 for kindling). Every blind was broken. Very unclean and tired. Before we arrived, we received a call regarding some plumbing issues, and it may be fixed by 3pm. They phoned back as we were in the process of changing destination, to inform us we are being plced in the deluxe cabin. If we had known how bad it would be, we would definitely have changed accommodation. Overall, very disappointing.

I stayed here on 4/8/2024. The verandah steps were filthy & the verandah dirty.The other verandah had a big stain & a dirty, full ashtray. The bathroom floor & tiles had built up mould .The wood heater & coffee machine had not been cleaned since last use. The venetian blinds were broken in many places. The induction stove did not work. There were no pots & pans to use on it.The microwave plate was dirty & grime was caked underneath it. There were only basic utensils apart from a bread knife but no bread board.There was no kitchen sink plug.The staff were too casual, 1 smoking while collecting linen,the receptionist hard to find. There was a hidden cost of $50 if staying with a pet,only advised at reception desk. The advertised cost of $167 was not what was charged at reception ($199) when it was attended. We spent a wonderful relaxing time, the spa was amazing. Waking up to the kangaroos at our deck was really cool. I love that they are pet friendly. Staff were very polite and helpful. Local cafes have great food and also pet friendly

We didn't enjoy our stay at Amore and were glad we only Booked 1 night. It smells musty, it was very dirty with cobwebs and mould in the bathroom. The bed linen had stains and the TV remote was taped together by black tape that left a sticky residue when touched. Rainforest around the cabins needs to tidied up with palm prongs laying everywhere. We won't be booking here again or recommending to anyone.

I wish I had read the reviews before I booked. The place was very disappointing and way overpriced. The blind slats kept falling off. The screen doors don't lock and shut properly. The shower was very small and dirty. There was no inside bin. No hand towel and no chux to wash the dishes. No instructions on how to use the air-conditioning. I'm glad that we aren't big people as the bathroom was extra small. Overall I would not recommend this place.

Absolute rip off. Not luxury at all. The room was run down and way over priced. Lights weren't working. The fan controller was broken. The tap fixtures were loose. There wS mould in the shower. There was no coffee. We killed cockroaches as soon as we arrived. The room smells. No rubbish bin. Batteries missing in the TV remote. When trying to advise the only person who seemed to work there on the issues he literally ran away. The list goes on. We will never return let alone encourage anyone else to go there. Very disappointing....

There was no staff greeting or farewell, just handed the key and pointed. Although they advertise they are 'Amore' rooms there was nil atmosphere. Not even a red heart chocolate on the bed. I had to request a hand towel twice and still no bath mat supplied. There was a fireplace with no wood or match. The grounds were a mess, very unkempt. Palm fronds everywhere. The pool was not clean, the lounges at the pool covered in dust. The room was a good size, spa bath good and bed comfy. What a shame, it could be a beautiful place.

The room was stunning and relaxing. The atmosphere is just tranquil and peaceful, especially with the fireplace. The staff were very helpful and provided any thing we asked for. The cabins are spaced far enough apart to ensure privacy at all times. The spa was wonderful. The bathroom was adequate and the shower leaked slightly but all in all it was a peaceful stay and we didn't want to leave.
