Gorgeous design hotel. Great discovery, the oldest hotel in Budapest. With a very modern design interior! Teh location is perfect for a quick visit to budapest in the middle of the castle district. Yummy basic breakfast included in the room. Was truely a lively experience!

Excellent location, well preserved building. No elevator so avoid it if you have many luggage or difficulties in moving. Do not book with breakfast as they mean just two croissants and an orange juice.

Surprisingly an excellent place to stay

歴史的建造物に囲まれたエリアで、ホテルへの行き帰りが幸せだった。朝ごはん会場、赤い冷蔵庫始め、ワンポイントが赤いお部屋、本当に可愛くて、家族経営の温かさもあってとても心地よい滞在でした。ブダペストで一番古いホテルということで惹かれて宿泊しましたが、家族経営のしなやかな強さを感じました。

房間很美！而且有專屬私人區域，但主要是建築物是17世紀的古蹟，算是半個保留區所以沒有電梯，行李重的人不友善，還有就是這間冷氣非常弱，所以如果是怕熱的朋友或者是夏天要來的朋友可以避開。但冬天就很適合，算是浪漫的房間！早餐也是有付，不需要額外付錢！體驗來說除了太熱其他都很棒！

Amazing stay. We were upgraded to the suite, free if charge and it was stunning.Suite has a terrace with good views. Good location on the Pest side of the river. Really friendly staff, cannot recommend the hotel enough to anyone who is looking for a romantic weekend away

This hotel is amazing, we stayed in room 32, top floor, with its own terrace seating area. The room was very spacious and laid out in an open plan style, with bath in main room, so probably only suitable for couples or with very young children. There is a shower, but this is also in the main room, with a separate toilet in a closed room. Great lighting system, with four options, electric windows and blind. It had a sofa and very large bed, with tv at foot of the bed, and another on the opposite side facing the sofa, although only a couple of English spoken Chanel’s. The room was immaculately clean on arrival and maintained throughout the four nights we stayed there. The only downside, if you are not fit and healthy, is that there is no lift, and this room was on the third floor, but well worth the effort for the outside terraced seating area. Hotel is situated in the castle hill area, very close to several interesting attractions, you can walk everywhere very easily, nothing is very far away. Breakfast was basic, but you can upgrade if you’d prefer, and the restaurant provided very good meals during the day. Staff were very friendly and helpful, so pleased we found this hotel, and would definitely recommend it, and will look to return there again if we decide to go back to Budapest.

Thank you to Attua, Daniel and Andras for making this most spectacular weekend in Budapest celebrating my daughter's 18th. The hotel is beautiful, retro and in one of the best prime location with spectacular views. To get around it's either uber or bolt download the app, and its roughly £7 to get into the town centre where there is an abundance of restaurant. Download simple classic to hop on and off the buses which is 490 HUF like £1.00. City centre is literally 20 minutes away if that. The team that run this hotel, will go out of their way to make your stay amazing. From beautiful hotel rooms , lovely continental French breakfast or a range of lovely Hungarian choices. The building works have now finished opposite the hotel which was mentioned in an earlier review. If your at a lost of what to do or where to go then the guys are more then happy to recommend and help book places to visit and eat. Thank you to the team at Pest -Buda and the rest of the team Saran and Yao. One of our best hoilday experiences ever. From helping us to book restaurants to historical facts about Hungary, the castle. The hotel room is beautiful, clean and comfortable. One of oldest in this district built in 1696. Thank you some of the best memories for our first time visiting Hungary. With fondest memories, thank you so much, Premila and Shyanne.

Really lovely hotel in a great location. Lovely room with everything you need, daily complimentary water in fridge. Down side it was very noisy from the road outside, daily bin lorry at 6am also you could hear the people in the room above walking around. Breakfast included was ‘frenchy’ which consisted of 2 croissants and jam, anything else was an extra cost. Very clean, only downside was the noise from the busy road outside.

The website photos do not do this beautiful boutique hotel justice. The friendly welcome and sublime location combined with the stunning interior design of the rooms is a match made in heaven. District 1 feels safe, is everso clean and offers unbeatable views of Pest. The breakfast offerings in the hotel were delicious and the dinner menu was scrumptious! The bed was super comfy, sheets delightfully soft, shower powerful and the little touches such as L’Occtaine products added that luxurious feel. We loved venturing from the hotel on foot exploring Budapest and soaking up the action but equally we loved retreating back to District 1 for quieter evenings and romantic meals for two in the balmy warm Summer evenings. After 3 nights, we can’t wait to return!!!!

A beautiful and peaceful boutique hotel located near the most charming part of Buda. Our suite was spacious, comfortable, well-equipped, and elegantly decorated. The restricted traffic in this part of the city made for wonderfully quiet nights. The à la carte breakfast was excellent, freshly prepared with high-quality ingredients. The coffee was good, and lactose-free milk was available. The breakfast staff were attentive and accommodating to our needs. It’s worth noting that room access is via stairs, which is typical for this type of establishment in historic buildings. The staff were highly professional and exceptionally friendly. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Budapest; it’s a true gem.

Beautiful hotel in a fantastic location. Breakfast was great. Staff were friendly and very helpful. I would definitely recommend eating at their restaurant Pest-Buda Bistro, lovely authentic Hungarian food. I loved the Hungarian goulash soup.
