Hotel Rumor

The hotel is in a perfect central location. I have a couple of negatives about our booking. Although it’s called a hotel it’s not. It’s a collection of apartments on the 1st floor of a residential building. It is VERY poorly sign posted and should have been made clearer. The hotel is on the 1st floor about a souvenir shop. However access is through large double gates to which we had not been given a code. Even then you walk down a dark tunnel and need another code to get to the 1st floor. When you book this information should have been supplied so guests don’t struggle to find the hotel or gain access. There is no restaurant or bar not even a room mini bar. There are no drawers or wardrobes in a room. As such be prepared to live out of your case on the floor. Large TV although only Netflix. Double bed with a 3/4 duvet that felt like tog 1.5 Additional duvet supplied although that was for a single bed 🤷‍♂️ Coffee machine with capsules, you must ask for tea and milk. Access to the room was via a courtyard balcony which wasn’t was I was expecting. Paid in full 6 months previous yet still asked to pay another £40. Luckily I had my emails from 6 months ago. Great location but room for improvement and more clarity to customers before booking.

This hotel is truly a hidden gem and a great boutique hotel for a 3/4 day city break. Great location for seeing all the key sights, a walking tour, evening cruise and lots of bars/restaurants. Arrived early but room was already available with a bottle of champagne for our anniversary. Thanks for looking after us. We will return and won’t hesitate to recommend this hotel to others.

We had a wonderful five night stay at Hotel Rumor. The location is very central, near to many tourist destinations and restaurants. The hotel rooms are nicely renovated and are a good size. While this is personal preference, we really liked the firm mattress and although we thought the pillows were a little too soft, we slept very well. What really sets this hotel apart from the others is the staff, who are very friendly and helpful. We had an issue with our room when we arrived and they quickly got it resolved. We had good interactions with all the staff, but I would especially want to thank Virág as she was amazingly helpful and professional when handling our issue, as well as throughout our stay at the Hotel. Highly recommended!

Excellent location, helpful, friendly staff, comfortable bed, everything very clean and tidy. We stayed for 2 nights and would happily stay again. The entrance from the street doesn’t look as nice as the hotel itself - so don’t be put off by that.

Highly recommend, chic room great location and helpful staff Located in central the reception are very kind and helpful the room have netflix own account and nice and cold airconditioner id definitely come back and stay at this hotel again when i come to visit next time in winter !

If you want a quiet and clean place , where you won't be disturbed by noises by night and by staff who want to clean în the morning , this is the Rumor hotel .Big room , comfortable bed , clean bathroom , very friendly staff. In one morning , the coffee machine broke down and in the evening of the same day , I found it , repaired. Whatever requirement I had , the ladies (Dori , Virag , Victoria ) from the reception , solved it. The hotel is located near the most important tourist attractions. Next to the hotel is a food store.
