Fairfield Inn & Suites Buckeye Verrado

We decided to arrive a day early to Spring Training and booked a one night stay at the Fairfield by Marriott. From beginning to end it was a great stay. We were able to check in through the Bonvoy app and were assigned a room. Check in was a breeze with the digital key. Our room was clean and nicely furnished. The bathroom and shower were a good size. The pool and hot tub were enjoyable and the location was perfect. Breakfast is served from 6:00-9:00 am during the week and 6:30-9:30 am on the weekends. They offered eggs, bacon, make your own waffles, 3 types of cereal, muffins, toast, fresh fruit, yogurt, coffee, tea, juice and milk. The dining area is large and the staff kept the food replenished. Parking was easy to find and the beds were comfortable! I have several photos of the property to submit but this app only allows one photo per review.

Open since early 2023, this hotel looks brand new. A welcomed break after a long drive. Quiet hotel with no outside noise. Comfy bed and AC worked well. Three pillows per queen bed, had to fight for who received the extra pillow. Why not just put four on the bed? Free breakfast with standard fare (make your waffles, yogurt, eggs) plenty of seating. Nice TV, large bathroom with shared pump for soap and shampoo. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

We stayed the 1st night they opened... Pros: Brand New Hotel Close to Freeway, but not too close to freeway Nice rooms Cons: The night we were there, the tv did not work in our room - the front desk offered to send someone up and no one came up Hot water came out of the sink faucet, but the water in the shower was luke warm at best Shower door leaked, so water got all over the floor We are Marriott Ambassador - this was not recogized by the staff in any way! No room upgrade, even though the website showed upgrade rooms available at check in...not even a thank you for being a Marriott Ambassador We did speak with a manager and were surprised he did not offer any points or room discount given the room/stay deficiencies. We were told that they just need to work everything out as they are a new hotel. This hotel has the potential to be a great hotel...but the staff needs to be so much more customer focussed, they need to treat Ambassador members better and the kinks need to be worked out.
