I was given a corner king suite, which was very large and had a separate sitting room. The room had issues with the air conditioning the entire stay. The hotel personnel tried to fix the a/c, but it would never control properly. I think the unit is too small for the room. In addition, the final night at the hotel, the a/c in the elevator wasn't working and it smelled like a gym bag. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was kept clean. The only issues seemed to be at with A/C. The restaurant attached to the hotel is very good and I highly recommend giving it a try! Stayed Aug 17-21

We stayed in this hotel last year and it was really nice. This year, we checked in and the bed was all wrinkly and it seemed like the sheets were not changed. So after talking to front desk, we got another room. It wasn't super clean, but it was ok. Actually, when you pay I think it was around 140 a night, it should have been cleaner. For that price, you don't get complimentary breakfast, but you can go to the Miller house, that is next to the hotel. When we got there, at 9:48 am - they served breakfast until 10 am, we were told, that someone is coming to vacuum the carpets, so they can make us breakfast, but we have to take them to go. Well thank you, but no thank you. Some ppl were still eating there, but we could not... I was trying to leave a review on Holiday inn website, but they would not post it, cause they don't like it. Guess what?! I didn't like it too! As gold members we deserve better service than we got.

This property needs some TLC. From lose locking door handles (screw hanging out) to panels loose in the elevators. The staff checking in was…a bit salty. The restaurant that is attached to this property is below average, very slow service and food that took forever to arrive. You cannot charge the meal to the room, would have been nice to know before hand. So, over the course of 3 days, we only ate there once. One and done as they say. The room was clean yet the WiFi was (sorry to say) CRAP. Only worked in the lobby. Apparently the modem is only stationed there…hard to beam the signal up through the concrete…so, good thing LTE/5 G was working. I pass next time in the area.

Booked during a tropical storm to be closer to work. When we arrived, we were turned away because they “don’t allow locals” to stay. Because we live in the same county, they refused our paid reservation, during a storm. The desk clerk was very rude.

The hotel was nice, resturant was great. The room needed a little work. The black out curtains were ripped and the shower needed deep cleaning. For the price we paid there should be better maintenance in the rooms. Torn blackout curtains and dirty showers is unacceptable.

Don’t bother. They first sent us to a smoking room that had not been cleaned (we didn’t even request a smoking room), but the new room they sent us to had malfunctioning hvac controls, causing us to get up every hour to turn on the a/c when it got too hot and turn on the heat when it got too cold. Maintenance guy was useless when we complained. Phone was also not working. Save your money, find a better hotel. Zero stars.
