B&B Mirabel

What a little gem of a place family owned/run the host lady was so attentive and informative the place was short of perfection. The breakfast was a picture perfect set up nothing to much trouble anything you wanted exactly how you wanted it. The rooms were lovely and spacious immaculately presented. In a great location on a lovely quiet part of the centre. Would definitely be returning to bruges just to stay at the guesthouse

Outstanding hospitality and personal service. Hosts Agna and Benny are wonderful. The house and rooms are beautiful and comfortable. Rooms and bathroom are modern and very clean. Breakfast, prepared by the hosts every morning, is absolutely outstanding. We wanted for nothing and felt very well taken care of. Stay here if you can.

What a wonderful place to stay! Agna and Benny could not be more welcoming as hosts, it is clear they have a passion for hospitality and caring for their guests - nothing is too much trouble. From the moment we arrived we felt relaxed and welcomed. Agna had a welcome juice and chocolate for us, information about the city and recommendations for places to visit and dine. The rooms (we had 3) are all beautifully decorated, spacious, comfy and quiet. Whilst the bedrooms are elegant and vintage and have some lovely antique pieces of furniture, the bathrooms are beautifully modern. Hot drinks and still/sparkling water are available from machines in the hall whenever you want - including bottles to be able to take water up to your room. The guesthouse is just a few minutes walk from the main square - so no where is too far to walk. The breakfasts are something else! So much choice - hot, cold, pastries, fruit....you choose the day before however we were always asked if there was anything else we wanted on the morning! Each day we were also given a different fresh juice and a breakfast pudding (something I've never had before but could get used to) the waffles were a particular favourite for our group - but the whole of breakfast was delicious. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again next time I visit Bruges.

This is a wonderful guesthouse run by a lovely kind lady right in the heart of the city . My 12 year old son and I took a suite at the top of the house and it was absolutely perfect. Quiet, immaculately clean, beautifully furnished and with amazing views. Breakfast was copious and beautifully done in a gorgeous light room. It's tasteful, homely, comfortable and central. At the end, Agna asked me how she could improve. I think we should all be taking notes from her. It was wonderful. Thank you so much. xxx

Agnes was a wonderful host during our visit to Bruges. The Guesthouse Mirabel is a warm and convenient accommodation with a delicious breakfast to start the day. We highly recommend this bed and breakfast. Agnes goes above and beyond to care for her guests.

We stayed at this beautiful, gorgeous B&B to celebrate my 70th and could not have chosen better. It is a family run establishment (run by Agna & Benny) who are most welcoming hosts. The guesthouse is full of charm and character. It only has 6 rooms which further guarantees the “personal touch” Breakfast is cooked to order, chosen a day in advance. It is situated very close to both the Burg & Market square (around 5 minute stroll) so enjoys a super location. I would 100% recommend this establishment for anyone considering visiting this charming city, you will definitely not be disappointed. Thank you Agna & Benny and if I ever return to Bruges I definitely know where I will be staying.

We had a truly wonderful time at Guesthouse Mirabel. Agna and Benny were very attentive and went far above and beyond to make our stay an unforgettable experience. The room was exceedingly well presented and spotless, the food at breakfast was all delicious. Agna has an encyclopaedic knowledge of Brugge and helped guide us to some great areas of the city to visit, and how to get there. It's honestly very hard to put into words how positive an experience it was to stay here, if I could give 11 out of 10 I would. Thank you! :)

We booked this hotel because of the reviews and honestly did not think it would live up to expectations but I was wrong. Guesthouse Mirabel was an absolutely marvelous place to stay. Location is outstanding. Everything is within a reasonable walking distance. The rooms extremely up to date. The beds don’t squeak when one gets up in the middle of the night. I have trouble sleeping and I didn’t wake-up my wife. It is a small thing but these little details are what make the hospitality of Anna and Bennie so special. We are not big eaters and often get coffee and a croissant for breakfast. Not here. Last thing my wife said last night was, “I can’t wait for breakfast. I woke-up thinking about the outstanding breakfast we had yesterday. A simple fruit salad for breakfast. Not here. Each plate is made with care and as Anja said, this morning’s waffles were made with love. We had a special juice prepared every morning. I am no fan of mixing fruits in juices but man, I looked forward to my juice every morning. I had difficulty getting on with-fi, my fault using the wrong password but Anja came up to help and was actually happy to help and deflected my embarrassment. The rooms are immaculate with all the conveniences, tea kettle and coffee in room. A coffee machine downstairs provided coffee all night if need be and their wonderful water bottles could be refilled avoiding us having plastic bottles everywhere. The bathroom was updated and well designed and crafted. Extra pillows and blankets available but wrapped in a box not just shoved in the closet as most hotels do. I could go on. Suffice it to say that if you appreciate true and genuine hospitality this is the place to stay and it is reasonable. Two very thoughtful hoteliers and when we return to Bruges this is where we will stay. I have never experienced this level of personal care and hospitality and I have spent hundreds of days in hotel rooms. Anja and Bennie seem to truly love what they do and it is obvious.

This guest house was absolutely superb, my wife and I are seasoned travellers and this place was very impressive. The rooms are superbly decorated with original antique furniture and the bathroom was well above average with a good bath. the fridge had good wine in for us (At a charge). The breakfast was very good, I think that we had about 4 courses, finished off with Agna's home made apple pies. It was just the ticket. Communication between the owners and us was very good and the arrival briefing, with drinks, about the City was extremely helpful. We will definitely be returning to this guest house.
