North Coast 500 Pods

Fantastic accommodation. Beautiful views. Fitted to high standard and well equipped. Outdoor seating with each pod and use of shared sauna pod. Allocated parking. Village close by which has reasonable Coop for shopping & selection of restaurants or take away if you don’t fancy cooking. Tea, coffee, sugar, washing up liquid and toiletries provided. (However some individual milk pots would be useful too).

Owner was lovely and we made great use of the sauna at sunrise which we weren’t expecting! Place was clean and provided Wi-Fi for tv which was also an added bonus. Will definitely be back. The pods are very clean and the heating was easy to use.

The pod was nice and clean and modern but would have preferred a partition between living room and bedroom. Also a bathroom with a door would have been more convenient. Location is very nice, quiet with lovely views. Wi-Fi ok, went on and off and Alexa lights etc not working. There was no underfloor heating as stated on the website. I did let them know about this so hopefully be updated. Also the heating hadn’t been put on for our arrival so the pod was very chilly. Heaters took ages to heat up. Not enough bath towels for using in shower and hot tub, a couple of extra ones would have been good. The sauna didn’t work at all. Brora is quiet but it was January, Co op has most things you need. Chinese takeaway was nice and fish and chips in Golspie were lovely. Nice wee break just missing a few things.

Amazing location and the pods are just perfect for what you need. We came as 4 adults and a dog and there was plenty of room for all of us to fit comfortably. Everything was clean and tidy and well thought out. I had a guest with me from Canada who was desperate to see a highland cow and the owners went well above and beyond to make that happen for her which was just so lovely. Perfect value for money and a great way to see the highlands. Was worried it may be cold but it was toasty warm and we lucked out with the weather also. Thanks will definitely be booking again.

In two words - loved it We stayed for one night only as we were on our NC500 tour and found it lacking for absolutely nothing. We had th3 option of a hot tub which was very enjoyable. I really can't recommend these pods enough- easily 5/5. Other things I liked was the tranquility of the site...it was lovely to sit out on the deck and enjoy the view.

These pods are 1st class…the attention to detail just made our stay so enjoyable, as they are just like a small house ie fully functional kitchen ie oven/hob, fridge, toaster, kettle etc. Toilet & shower room - free toiletries and toilets and a nice hot shower. Decked area outside with seats to enjoy a morning coffee and the superb view. Two nights were not enough…as there is loads to do/ see in Brora and surrounding area. I 100% recommended staying at these pods.
