Good location, quiet room, comfortable bed, would come again

Great breakfast included. Pool & hot tub need to be renovated. Convenient location. Friendly staff. Parking a bit tight.

The best breakfast we have had while travelling. They made individually made Omelets. The pool was very nice and clean.

I recently stayed here with husband. The facility was acceptable. The room was big. The breakfast was good. I was happy with my experience until my departure. We had left a small cooler in the refrigerator. I know beyond a doubt it was there. We got to our destination and realized we forgot it. After our day trip, we detoured back to Brooks, (30 minutes out of our way) to retrieve our cooler. My husband was told the room was cleaned and nothing was turned it. The desk person didn’t bother to double check or inquire of the house cleaner. If I thought for a minute, I didn’t leave it there I wouldn’t say this. My property was stolen. The cooler itself wasn’t worth more than $15. It’s the principle that my property was stolen and it was not acknowledged. In addition they did not offer to investigate. I am really disappointed that the hotel did nothing they just told my husband it wasn’t turned in. I would be careful about your belongings here. My husband accepted what was told to him because he didn’t want to fight. I think it is totally unacceptable that I know it was there and it was not turned in. That is stealing

We found bed bugs in the morning before we left we let the front desk know they didn’t seem to concerned they offered to refund the room rate which I accepted because there where not offering any other recourse as far as feature problems, arising like quarantining our luggage or what would Have to be done to stop the spread to our future locations and eventually home

Took the family for a spontaneous trip to hike the nearby provincial park. Was impressed by the cleanliness of the hotel, friendly staff and a fantastic breakfast. The elevator is super slow but that’s the only thing I could find as a negative. Would definitely recommend. Pet friendly too.

Was all good till we realized there was bed bugs so I suggest doing a once over when you first get in your room something that we normally do and regret not doing this time we are in the middle of our travels now this hotel was a first stop it’s scary to think we are packing these things with us across the country

We were pleasantly surprised at how lovely our room was. Appreciated it so much! We got to feel like we were really celebrating our 50th anniversary!

I called the hotel to reserve a room. They messed up my name and email. At check in the front desk person was reluctant to give me a room, I had to convince her that a poorly written version of my name and email was in fact reserved for me. This took 10 minutes while others waited behind me to check in. When I checked out I corrected my email and asked them to send me a receipt by email. I need the receipt for reimbursement from my employer. They sent me a receipt with no payment record! On top of all this, the hotel charged me a check in fee of 15 dollars that was never disclosed to me. The breakfast is supposed to be served with fresh omelets until 9 am. I showed up at 8. No omelets. The fruit and yogurt trays were empty. I asked the front counter if someone was supposed to assist with omelets or do we have to cook them ourselves. She went to the back and had to coax the grouchy breakfast woman to come back out and cook and replenish the trays. She complained the whole time that she needed help to keep up. Please hire her some help or replace her with someone who can do the job. Otherwise, the room was nice and the hotel was clean. :)
