Booked two weeks in advance. Checked in, and discovered we were placed in a room facing the 401 highway. The transport tuck and traffic noise was constant and unacceptable. When asked to move, they would not move us, and instead offered us a “white noise” apparatus. Using this equipment, Still the noise kept me awake several times through the night. The electrical outlet in the bathroom did not work. Had to ask for an ext. cord. Upon checkout, informed them of the problems. The manager offered rewards points for their hotel chain (more interested in taking care of their interests, versus the customer). Four days later, have not received any email or notice of any kind of compensation. Very very disappointed. At this point I would not recommend this hotel.

The staff was very friendly, the place clean and quiet, and the room pretty standard fare. Breakfast included is a nice touch (the coffee was actually way better than I'd expect it to be for a buffet).
Only downside was the pool was closed the weekend of our stay, unfortunately. Didn't get any warning beforehand, or offers of compensation, but not the end of the world.

Booked this hotel for March break for the kids to see the mermaid show at the Brockville, booked an extra day so the could enjoy the pool , it’s only at check in that we were informed that the pool was closed for maintenance 😔
