Perfect location only 15 mins walk from the main city. The staff were extra friendly but rooms were tiny and the walls are paper thin, so was very loud in even the private rooms. It felt uninviting and cramped but overall was a cheap stay in Brisbane

Absolutely rotten and disgusting. I have been travelling Asia and the east coast for a while and I can easily say that this hostel was the most disgusting place I slept at. As soon as me and my friends walked in we were met by the smell of pure sewage that frankly made me want to gag. The reception was slow to check us in as well as not letting us use the washer machines as they were backed up with bedding and towels. The room was small and also smelt of body odor. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable and I found it really hard to sleep. I would not recommend going here as it is double as expensive as it should’ve been.

When I arrived the door was locked and I never received a code to get in so I had to wait for someone to leave so I could enter as the phone was never answered. My bed was extremely uncomfortable and the rooms are very small with no open window so it’s stuffy with little to no space to put your bags. Worst thing was that I was told to pay for an extra week so that I would not lose my room, yet I said I was unsure when I may leave but was told that was fine. Had to check out suddenly due to an emergency and was told I was not being allowed my refund of 288$. Not a single penny, but that was never discussed to me. No one would allow me to speak to a manager, was never told there were no refunds and as a backpacker having little money, losing this amount has hit me hard.

Excellent hostel to stay out the staff was friendly and helpful and the manger could not do enough to help me out the room was clean fresh sheets and nice with the air conditioner on cheap private room I stay there for 2 years and great location to all public transport and shops

Do not stay here unless you enjoy feeling so scared you can’t go to the bathroom alone. This place is filthy, our room had some kind of brown sauce ( we hope) splashed all over the walls and a thick layer of dust along the bunk beds, the carpet is covered in stains. The corridors stink of feet and our room by the balcony constantly smelt like ****. The only window in our room looked out onto the corridor where the light was left on all night. the bathrooms were mixed gender and absolutely disgusting, nowhere to dry your hands, males urinating with the doors open, awoken each morning to the smell of **** and someone vomiting in the bathroom. Signs everywhere telling you to lock away valuables at reception, should have taken the hint. You can’t get into the hostel without Almost getting stumbled into by someone off there face on *****. 1 star for the pleasant guy on reception for storing our bags, if we knew what we were in for we never would have stayed. We have paid a lot less to stay in much nicer hostels, or at least ones where you don’t feel you need to sleep holding your wallet. Do not stay here especially as a female, we have stayed in hostels all over Australia and have never felt so unclean and unsafe.

Good location for our visit to Suncorp Stadium. Well priced. Bathrooms quite clean. Nice roof terrace. Problem with our room card key in the middle of the night. Thankfully another resident had the phone number for night manager., and knew sometimes keys don’t work.
