I absolutely loved Casa De Olas when we had our yoga retreat there in March 2024. The staff was kind and conscientious. The resort, rooms and studio spaces were fantastic. Located only a couple blocks from an amazing beach, we were able to enjoy privacy at Casa de Olas while seamlessly being able to enjoy the culture of the area anytime. We are heading back next year! Thank you for having us!

I took a large group of Yogis on retreat for a week at Casa De Olas and we had an amazing time! The staff was really nice with some English speakers that helped with organization, the facilities were great and the yoga shala was perfect for our group of 30. We will be back!

Charming, rustic, relaxing, and really a wonderful little hotel. But what really stood out was the staff here - they were all so dedicated and service oriented, and everyone was friendly, helpful, and extremely kind. Three standouts were Josmar, Angel, and Monica.The food served here was also really good. It was about a 5 minute walk to the shops, restaurants, and the beach. I was participating in a yoga retreat, and this hotel provided the perfect space for our group.

I hosted a retreat at Casa De Olas and it was INCREDIBLE. Everyone at the hotel was so warm and inviting. The hotel was very uniquely designed. We stayed for 8 nights and never got bored! They let us use one of the palapas for yoga and the views and vibe were gorgeous and so peaceful. The location is also very ideal- close to the beach and town but not too close to be a party zone. I slept really well at night. Also, the food is so delicious!!! The hotel also helped us book all the excursions, which were all excellent and even helped me find a babysitter for my son (they became best friends!) It was super clean, the pool was very fun too. My guests kept asking how I found the hotel. I loved every moment there and can’t wait for the next time I get to go back!

The hotel is well located, beautiful, clean. The swimming pool is fantastic. Food service is restrict, but the quality above my expectations. They offer excursions at a better price than those I found at the internet. The problem: all the time there is some music playing loud. Usually bad music. They should learn that, at a noisy world, silence is gold. They could encourage those guests who want to hear music to use each one’s device – with earphone, of course, to avoid disturbing the others. In favour of the hotel, I must say that they turned off the sound as soon as I asked to (why didn’t I asked before?). Then all of a sudden we start listening to the birds; a wonderful, peaceful atmosphere was installed. Hotel Casa de Olas remains a solid choice for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Puerto Escondido. I recommend it to fellow travelers seeking a well-located, clean, and overall positive lodging experience

We had a brilliant stay at Casa de Olas. Perfect location for exploring Puerto Escondido and easy to walk to the beach, bars and restaurants nearby. Our room was comfortable and the AC/fan combo was good. The staff are all so friendly and really made our stay - the food and drinks were excellent (highly recommend their frozen mango margarita!). Reception were incredibly helpful and arranged taxis for us as well as excursions. We loved relaxing by the pool and it was such a chilled place to stay in general. Would definitely stay here again!

What a wonderful stay! We enjoyed so many things. Being in our 40s we wanted to have a chill, clean, comfortable place to call home while experiencing the La Punta energy. Casa De Olas did not disappoint. Such kind staff. Clean comfortable rooms. The A/c was nice and chill. We enjoyed the guitars out to play, bikes to ride, surf boards easily rentable, the breakfast, the list of activities that Casa De Olas offers to the community (salsa lessons, yoga, gym, tennis). We found ourselves coming back to our rooms and finding our way to the comfortable shared deck up top feeling the breeze. Would highly recommend. Thanks again to the front staff for all the recommendations on our stay!

The place is beautiful, cozy, modern, inviting. The rooms are nice and clean with daily service. The pool was refreshing and the rooftop bar area, with it's views and cool breeze on hot days was wonderful. Overall the hotel is located a couple blocks from the beach, and taxis are near, and abundant and there are a variety of shops, and restaurants to visit. But my biggest impression was the staff, they were so hardworking, and worked non stop, professional and genuinely kind, they dealt with some demanding people, I know. But they never lost their smile. I was there July 8-11,2022 with the large group with Deyanira Vargas. Definitely I would return in the future and choose to stay here. Thank you! Edna

Without hesitation, one of the few places I would totally recommend booking. The staff are beyond nice and helpful in any way they can. The location is amazing with a walking distance to Punta Zicatela beach. The place doesn't lack for a single feature, it has a rooftop bar, pool, yoga classes, among many more things. I stayed in Suite Amarilla en it was so spacious, perfect for the 4 friend group that went with me, but suitable for up to 6 people.
