We had a great experience at this hotel! The welcome cookie was delicious and just what we needed after a long drive down from London. We were celebrating our anniversary, and they surprised us with some towel art and cake! The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast buffet had great variety and a beautiful view.  Only comments would be the lack of complementary water and mini-fridge the room. The AC took a while to become cold, but it got there eventually.  Overall, we had a great trip and don’t regret picking this hotel!

Me and my boyfriend went to stay at this hotel while in Brighton and it is so lovely the staff r really nice ,hotel is beautiful,they have a spa ,pool,gym,restaurant and bar and it’s all rlly lovely will go back for sure

We asked for a sea view room and wasn’t even acknowledged. So as much as the room was clean our view was looking at buildings through our windows.

Joanne's service was excellent—she provided detailed analysis and recommendations, guiding us to upgrade to a sea-view King bed room. This allowed us to enjoy the stunning sunrise and sunset over Brighton’s coast under the warm sunshine, making our trip even more memorable. We hope to visit again in the future and look forward to receiving any room offers from you.

This was a booking for my mother-in-law. She thoroughly enjoyed her stay. We booked an accessible room for her because her mobility is not great. She said the room was very spacious and the accessibility features were very well thought out. The staff was very helpful and accommodating as well.

While the staff at the DoubleTree Brighton were pleasant, my room left much to be desired. Old socks under the bed and a generally unclean feel made the £150 price tag feel excessive. The room was basic, damp, and the windows and balcony were covered in bird droppings. Communication was also slow – using the Apple Business iMessage feature, it took over 8 hours to receive a response. Overall, not an experience I'd recommend.

The hotel is near the sea ! Good~ But the hotel is a bit old.

Such a fabulous hotel with close proximity to the places we planned to visit. The service is fabulous. we received cookies at check-in and the room was very spacious. We all enjoyed a great time in the pool and spa and a good night sleep. Parking is £25 a day for hotel residents. The breakfast is excellent.

Such nice hotel! Too bad didn’t have time to use their swimming pool, it should be nice. Parking was of good size, very safe (forgot to close passenger side window). A bit expensive though. Bed very comfortable. Room was big enough for 2 to move around with 2 large luggage around. Minor improvement, the lamp on the desk is blocking the TV, curious.

This was a lovely hotel in the center of the city. The gym was great and I’m sure the pool was too, however it was incredibly busy. The only complaint is that there wasn’t 24 hour room service which me and my partner were wanting that night! Overall I would stay there again.

We got trapped in a small, hot lift. The staff refused to call the fire brigade to get us out, expecting us to wait for an additional 1.5 hours plus for their engineer to arrive. We had no water and they expected us to get on our hands and knees to drink from a straw through the door like rodents. We declined reducing ourselves to such indignity. Thankfully we were able to call the firebrigade ourselves who rescued us within 20 minutes, after being stuck for over 45 minutes. Eleni (AKA ChatGPT) did offer me a 10 hour journey to come back and stay in a downgraded room or the opportunity to join their loyalty programme for our troubles 🤷‍♂️ We paid nearly £300 for a night stay so this is by no means a budget hotel. I would expect a better handling of the situation.

We stayed there with my partner one night.Overall good size room,clean refurbrished room and we were given room with a bath (i asked). Negatives-blocked sink, missing towels and no slippers,asked for water for 40minutes.Expected a bit more for the price paid but overall happy.
