What a disappointment this was… First the good things: a. Great location, just outside of town, near a major shopping center and restaurants. b. Public transport close by. c. Communications with Ambiente prior to arrival was efficient. d. Self check-in process worked great. Well explained and documented. Now, why you should not accept B313 (one-bedroom apartment with balcony) as an accommodation option. a. Curtains in the kitchen and the bedroom do not even cover the whole window, maybe 70% of it only (see pictures provided). The curtain themselves are cheap and very translucent. You live and sleep with the neighbourhood all the time, no privacy at all. b. Sleeping in a room where there is no way to achieve minimal darkness is a major issue, in fact you will have to sleep with full daylight very early in the morning, in full view with neighbours. c. The kitchen faucet is very loose and shaky, falling towards the bottom of the sink. We were always concerned that a water leakage might appear. d. The kitchen water head was also seriously clogged, spitting water out of the faucet even on the kitchen counter. We could basically not use the faucet for more than 10 seconds at a time. Water was spreading everywhere. e. The door key would very easily get stuck in the door lock mechanism. The door lock had probably been forced before, rendering locking and unlocking the door an unnecessary challenge. To top it all, above items c, d and e were immediately reported by email to Ambiente on the very first night we arrived. They wrote me back saying they appreciated knowing the shortfalls and that they would take care of it «right away»… Sadly, nothing was done about any of these issues during our 3-day stay, and no one ever came back to us with any news or updates on anything. We have the feeling that we did not get the service and value we should have received from Ambiente, not for the price we paid. I felt it was important to share this experience. If we had known…
