Taneycomo Lakefront Resort

We loved this resort. The manager was fantastic. There for any needs we had. The rooms were clean and we all slept like babies on the wonderful mattresses. We stayed in a kitchenette that was well furnished and the price was reasonable. We will definitely be back to visit again.

First off i hate to write this review however i feel compelled to do so. In my wife and i's 20 plus years of camping in our RV this is by far the worst campground we have stayed at. Now the staff excluding one was very nice but the campground it self is very run down and not taken care of. We were told it had cable TV however we were promised immediately someone one would be right over and get the cable going for us to no avail. I gave up and got what satellite reception i could based on all the trees which of course that isn't there fault. The sites while plenty long enough for nice size campers the width was non existent as they were very narrow sites. Truthfully the pictures must be very old as the campground looks nothing like that now. Not sure where they come up with the 4 star rating as it was just way too run down and they didn't take pride in keeping up the place.
