Hotel Sanje ob Soči /

We booked a 2 x 2 apartment as we were a family of 4. Apartment was spotless with comfortable beds and lovely view of the mountains from our balcony. We received a fabulous welcome and Reception were always on hand if we had any questions. Expensive for what it is (but it is lovely!) and we wouldn't do breakfast if we went again. 18 Euros per adult and half price for children and it wasn't worth it for what we received. But overall, a lovely stay. Thank you.

This is a very nice hotel and to be honest probably deserves a higher rating. So why did I only give it 3 stars. Firstly, the positives. The hotel is quite new. The staff a really friendly. There is free parking right outside. The hotel is in a quiet dead-end road. However, the hotel calls itself and prices itself as a 4-star hotel. I'm not sure I'd agree. The rooms are nice and new, however are really quite small. You access all the rooms via external stairs. Pouring rain, snow or cold and climbing two flights of external stairs - I'm not sure they'd be so much fun. Breakfast isn't included in the price. But mostly the price. The hotel is really quite expensive (compared to other hotels in area). And I'm just not convinced the price of the hotel is justified. If the price was lower, I'd rate higher - for what you're getting or what you could get for the same price.

This is a nice place but not a great one. The rooms are a bit Spartan, and the price is a little high for what you get. We had a fine time during our two nights, but we would try elsewhere on a return trip. Breakfast was extra, which is unusual in European hotels. In September of 2023, it cost 16 euros, but was excellent, we will admit. Rather poor Wi-Fi, we found. We got far better service at the Felix Bovec burger joint in the town center (which we recommend). We got an apartment in the back, which was not great. Some of the other spaces are undoubtedly better.

Myself and friend Caroline had a fantastic stay at the hote: we stayed 3 nights and I can recommend the breakfast it’s worth the money and so varied. The hotel is right in the centre of the town with restaurants, bars and rafting centres on your doorstop: the views from the hotel are just incredible. Monika at reception can’t do enough for you. She even made me a gf df cake on my last night, Thoroughly recommend. Only advise is to pre book restaurants before you arrive or on day 1. There are not enough restaurants in the town compared to guests so they get fully booked.

Excellent hotel for travelers, families and romantic couples in one of the most beautiful valleys in Slovenia. The atmosphere, view and hotel staff deserve all the praise for their hospitality and adequacy. Breakfast is great and will be adapted to your wishes or dietary restrictions by amazing hotel stuff at check in. Welcome drink of local liquor shot is also worth mentioning. We’ll be back asap for sure. Thank you

Gute Lage, leicht außerhalb gelegen in einer Sackgasse (kein Durchgangsverkehr). Aber fußläufig in ca. 5min zu erreichen. Sehr gutes Frühstück, viele regionale und selbstgemachte Produkte. Was etwas Abzug bekam waren das Bett, sehr weiche Matratze daher schläft man fast aus dem Lattenrost. Aus dem Bad kam ein leicht modriger Geruch was schade war. Alles in allem aber alles sauber, nettes und freundliches Personal.
