Best Hotel good clean bad shower

I’m a student working at the hospital near by and have been coming for weeks at a time for 3 years. The hotel is always nice and the staff are great, especially Jane who always remembers me. Asset to your company! Little outdated rooms but it’s just for sleep/shower.

Stayed here for a week, I could not thank the staff enough. They were super welcoming and nothing was too much of trouble. Anna on reception was especially helpful. Rooms were spotless and the pub next door was just as great. Only thing that could be improved are the potholes in the carpark!

I’m just amazed that Whitbread still have these outdated hotels available. The room smelt damp and was unkept. The bathroom is un kept and in bad need of renovation. No heating no extraction from the bathroom. Poor lighting. Curtain seen better days. Desk seat in a terrible state. All for over £100 a night.oh did I mention the pot holes car park? Avoid this place!

We stay at Premier Inns all over the UK and unfortunately this was the worst one we have stayed at. Very much in need of modernisation- shower curtain round the bath gross! Rooms old fashioned and feels like things haven’t been updated for 20 years. However the room was clean and provided a base for the night. Had to turn the old fashioned radiator off as it was making noises all night. Noise from other guests walking down the corridor and banging doors was a nuisance.

I gave 3 stars for the staff and breakfast. Room not very clean dust and splatters on wall, toothpaste on door. Water smelt and tasted contaminated couldn't make a drink or brush teeth was not going to risk shower. Breakfast and staff great, bed lovely and comphy. Would I stay again sorry no just a few houskeeping changes I would but not having clean drinking water is major problem for me.
