The minimalist decor within this desert getaway unit (within a duplex) is the retreat everyone needs and deserves. Even though the unit is located on Borrego Springs Road, and you may hear some street noise, the bedroom is located far enough to allow for a restful evening. As you know between 8 pm-morning there are few cars on the streets in Borrego…Don’t delay in getting your self-care and R&R… It has been a joy to decorate the 550 square feet unit with furnishings from West Elm, Crate & Barrel, CB2, etc. Also, there are 2 mini-splits, 2 smart tvs, WIFI, Cable tv, fire pit, full kitchen… The village of Borrego Springs is recognized as a designated International Dark Sky Community by the International Dark-Sky Association (IDA). There are no stop lights in Borrego Springs and nighttime lighting is kept to a minimum to protect the views of the night sky. Borrego Springs is approximately 90 miles (140 km) from downtown San Diego and the lights of the highly developed California coast. Borrego Springs was designated as California's first International Dark-Sky Community by the International Dark-Sky Association.
