Chambres à Bord'O

Very comfortable accommodation in an excellent location close to a tram stop. Just a five minute ride into the city. Natalie was a very friendly host offering lots of useful advice and suggestions of places to visit in the city. This enabled us to make the most of our time in beautiful Bordeaux. Natalie also made sensible and well judged restaurant suggestions. Breakfast was extensive and of lovely quality, with homemade jams plus delicious cake, brioche choices for each of our four mornings there. The room was very clean and comfortable with a great shower and air conditioning. This accommodation offers excellent value for money being East of the river but within easy reach of the city and the airport via the tram service.

A wonderful guest house on the "wrong side of the river". Easy access to the city by the excellent tram service. Brilliant hosts Anne and Nathalie both speak English, are full of hints and tips to make your holiday go without a hitch. Free safe in your room is a bonus. Breakfast is continental, communal with the other guests, and plentiful and not too early, though this is flexible if you want to get out and about. The rooms are comfy, beds cosy, and facilities as you would expect. You have your own keys to your room and exterior door. The road is relatively quiet, though it does link with the main Avenue Thiers, which is also where the tram stops. There is a small supermarket selling fresh fruit and ice cream, drinks, snacks, household items etc just around the corner. The city is walkable, though we only walked half way home when a demonstration stopped the trams. All in all we would highly recommend this perfect residence. Maybe a little music at breakfast would help with gaps in conversation? ❤️

We stayed here for 3 nights in March. Natalie our host was very welcoming and had lots of great advice for places to eat. Gave us lots of information to all the sights in Bordeaux. The Chambre was just over the river in a quiet and excellant location for the tram, 2 mins walk! We were able to park our car in her street which was great for unpacking and repacking the car. Our room was comfortable and beautifully furnished. Breakfast was great and more than adequate. Will definitely recommend her to our friends. Good wifi.

Stayed here for a week in October 22. Natalie our host was very helpful with information and suggestions on what to enjoy in Bordeaux. The room was spotlessly clean with a good en-suite. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was continental, with plenty of bread, cheeses , ham , fruit & yogurt. Great coffee also. Accommodation is really well positioned with the tram a two minute walk. Service is regular and has one in the city in minutes. All round great stay, would recommend and would stay again.

Très bel endroit très joliment décore ! Accueil parfait de notre hôtesse !Très bons conseils des l' arrivée !Nous les avons suivis et ils étaient top !! Très belle chambre au calme malgré la vraie proximité de Bordeaux où l' on peut aller à pieds Nous recommandons absolument et y retournerons surement .

Buon compromesso tra qualità e prezzo: questo piccolo B&B poco fuori dal centro di Bordeaux è posizionato davanti la fermata dei tram linea A Thiers Benauge. Attraverso questa linea potrete spostarvi in qualsiasi punto della città; dal 28 aprile anno corrente arriverete direttamente all’aeroporto. Noi abbiamo usufruito del sevizio il giorno successivo l’inaugurazione della nuova tratta e in 40min eravamo a Merignac. Comodissimo. Ho trovato la colazione ottima e la stanza ben arredata, pulita e con tutto il necessario. Viaggiavamo con un bambino di 2 anni: se non fossi stata ben organizzata con pappe pronte e ristoranti prenotati in anticipo, avrei avuto difficoltà ad organizzarmi in zona al momento. Ci tornerei sicuramente.
