Great hotel at Bordeaux. Like the decorations of the rooms and public areas. Would book again next time. Front reception services are good.

Fabulous hotel! Extremely clean. The staff are extremely helpful specially the Manager Emily, she’s professional, warm and very approachable. Had dinner at the hotel restaurant, the food was very tasty. Felt welcome throughout our stay. I genuinely think it’s the best hotel in Bordeaux! Would definitely recommend and will come back for sure xx

We were on a family trip to celebrate our daughter's 21st Birthday and had booked 6 rooms at the Hotel Burdigala. Great hotel. Great location. easy trip in on tram from the airport and 10 minute walk to all the action in Bordeaux. Hotel was lovely, extremely clean and rooms were very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

The strong points - room quaity and bathroom -breakfast Poor -check in at 4 pm is a no go and makes me not return -250 Euro guarantee is ridiculous

It was our third stay at this hotel and everything was as good as it was during our first visit. Nice room, delicious breakfast and good location. Consierge service was also very helpful and made our stay in Bordeaux even more pleasant.

We had a three-night stay in a duplex room at Hôtel Burdigala, and I would stay there again in a heartbeat. The room was spacious and extremely well designed, with ample built-in storage, a full bathroom on the first floor and a very convenient half bathroom upstairs in the sleeping area. The service is outstanding. Everyone at the front desk and in the restaurant/bar made us feel welcome, and we were especially impressed with the concierge, who spent a long time with us to orient us to the map, to ask what we wanted to see and do in Bordeaux, and to recommend walks, restaurants, and attractions.

Excellent in every way. Stayed for three days on mother and daughter long weekend trip. Booked one of the split level rooms to give us more room. Was really lovely - large bed - like sleeping on a cloud and unexpectedly two bathrooms - separate loo cubicle on ground floor opposite room with sink, bath and shower plus upstairs small loo and wash hand basin off bedroom. Effectively two concealed wardrobe units plus multiple drawers too. Very handy for two ladies and probably stopped at least one mother/ daughter dispute! Well appointed with decent hairdryer and even a small clothes steamer. All immaculate. Good location - five minute walk from tram station ( direct to / from airport) five - ten minutes from centre old town. Is close to some less pleasing 70s looking office developments, but the quiet but central location and pleasant modern building more than make up for that. There is also a small Carrefour supermarket two doors down which is very handy. Superb staff - courteous, professional, completely charming and helpful without exception from housekeeping staff to bar, restaurant and especially front of house staff. Food - superior restaurant Madame B good food, good service. Breakfast very good. Front of house staff restaurant recommendation was also very good. Bar - table service quick and pleasant in immaculate pleasant surroundings. There are several beautiful hotels in the centre of the old town which have considerable grandeur on the old style that we considered booking. However, I find that I prefer modern appointments when travelling. I wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else when I return to this city. On Bordeaux generally, I would recommend it. Very clean, centre of town seemed very safe and respectable, beautiful historic light honey coloured stone buildings in the French style - considerable charm, great shops and - as you might expect - excellent food and wine. The people are charming , well mannered and patient with non native French speakers and did not appear to disdain our efforts ( as in Paris!). The City du Vin was an excellent attraction and we passed a very enjoyable afternoon there. I do think that all museum visits would be greatly enhanced if they started - as here- with a fortifying glass of excellent wine.

I had an absolutely delightful stay at the Hotel Burdigala in Bordeaux. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm and professional welcome from the staff. The hotel is beautifully designed, combining modern elegance with a touch of classic charm. My room was spacious, impeccably clean, and featured luxurious amenities that made my stay exceptionally comfortable. The location of the hotel is perfect—just a short walk from the city center.

I relied on reviews from this site to make a reservation, and I'm glad I did. Hotel Burdigala is unquestionably one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in. The staff is charming, helpful. The rooms are spotlessly clean, super quiet, very well-thought through for space utilization. This place is, simply put, a gem.
