We have just returned from a night's stay to celebrate a Special Birthday staying in Sir Robert Armstrong -Jones Room.Waw...from arriving to leaving our whole experience was Absolutely Amazing.We had a lovely welcome and was shown to our beautiful room wich was of highest standard.The little extras in the room were a treat and the toiletries were the best quality ever. The dining ecperience was an absolute delight( My partner an ex-executive chef and myself in hospitality).We were blown away with the high standard of Service from All Staff( Some names known but not all sorry...) Dylan..Liam..Aaron.All were very Professional..Smart with full knowledge of what they were serving.A real credit to you. The Pre-Dinner Drinks and Canopes were a real treat before being ushered through to a very cosy part of the restaurant.Compliments to The Head Chef Daniel ap Geraint and his team for the most Amazing Dining experience ever...All the dishes were presented to the highest standards with tastes and flavours never known before.Breakfast today was again excellent quality and was freshly cooked ...plenty of choice and served with a smile. The grounds are beautiful and we took advantage of the gorgeous weather to take a stroll and relax on one of many benches dotted around. Truly an Amazing Stay. Thank you Annie & Daniel for creating such a Beautiful Place for that Special Ocassion. Diolch yn Fawr Pawb. Thank you Everyone.

Booked for the festive afternoon tea and we weren’t disappointed! Sandwiches were delectable, especially the ham with pear chutney. The cakes were equally tasty, and so many we couldn’t finish it all. The festive mulled wine was a lovely touch, and not too overpowering of clove either. We’d definitely go back

It's not our first time at Plas Dinas Country House and it hopefully won't be our last. On our recent visit the weather was beautiful and we had afternoon tea on the terrace overlooking the stunning gardens. The afternoon tea was the best we have ever had, so much so that we had no need to eat in the evening. Staff were very attentive and knowledgeable. Our room was faultless and stylish. We would highly recommend it to anyone and do.

we were mis lead that there was a wedding here , i spoke to the staff about the wedding of conny and sam , on severall ocasions , i had booked this hotel instead of plas dinha easy mistake to make they only informed me the day before the wedding beware

I’ve just returned from another wonderful stay at Plas Dinas with the family. As a lady in the twilight years of life, I feel so safe and looked after at Plas Dinas. Nothing is ever too much trouble and they are incredibly patient with me. Daniel, Liam or Ferdie always greet me at the door and offer an arm to help me in. The small things/gestures mean so much. It really does feel like I’m coming come. The compassion they have for me is genuine, honest and heartfelt and this is the reason why I keep coming back time and time again. I always stop in the Lady Buckley room as I have mobility issues. I find this room excellent for me and it is perfect for my needs. Sometimes I share this room with my daughter and sometimes I stay there on my own. The room can be either a twin or a large king size. I love the fudge and biscuits that are always left by the coffee machine. I do have dietary requirements and Chef Daniel is ALWAYS able to cater for my needs. Nothing if ever too much trouble. This was a real find and someone I love coming back to time and time again.

We booked 3 rooms at Plas Dinas Country House under the impression there was a family wedding taking place at the venue. I had multiple conversations with staff over the months — even discussing the evening meals and the schedule for the day — and was repeatedly reassured that they were aware of the wedding, had been to planning meetings for it, and were fully prepared. It turns out, there was no wedding scheduled there at all. The real issue? I had mistakenly booked Plas Dinas instead of Plas Dinah — an easy and understandable error. But I had booked 3 months in advance. The staff knew all along that no such event was happening at their venue, and instead of clarifying the confusion or reaching out, they chose to stay quiet and only informed me the night before — far too late to cancel or get a refund. I feel completely misled. They knowingly let me proceed with the booking under false pretences, which resulted in a £1,000 loss for rooms I didn’t need. No refund was offered, no accountability taken. This kind of behaviour is unacceptable — I would strongly advise others to be cautious.

We visited Plas Dinas for a 70th birthday cream tea. Beautiful surroundings and pleasant staff. The afternoon tea was disappointing, however. A long time to get served despite there being no-one else there. Packet clotted cream was set out on every table. After finishing the tea I asked what the packet of clotted cream was for. They said is was for scones which they hurriedly brought out . We had finished the tea by then and were ready to leave. I said we would take the scones with us. They quickly gave the scones to another table and packed up some scones for us in a cardboard box. We tried them later in the evening and found them to be stale and certainly not homemade. What a disappointment for a special occasion!

Looking for a beautiful setting with outstanding service and wonderful food then Plas Dinas is the place for you. Accommodations were really comfortable. All staff members went above and beyond the call of duty, always smiling and extremely courteous. This experience created a great memory for us.

We have previously stayed at Plas Dinas and loved our experience so much we wanted to return with my parents to sample the Snowdon Afternoon Tea. Everything about our visit was fantastic; a warm welcome on arrival, Bentley (our little pooch) was embraced too & had his own floor place with a blanket and treats, in a beautiful, relaxed setting, sumptuous food washed down with thirst quenching Welsh pink fizz! We had a fairly bland eater amongst our group which wasn’t an issue when adapting some of the items on the menu, which was most appreciated. We were seated in the dining/lounge area as opposed to the Gunroom due to Bentley joining us, and this was perfect. For the hearing impaired member of our group, this was more than ideal as it was only us in the room! It really was an unforgettable visit; thank you to all that looked after us :)
