I have never had a worse experience at a restaurant, the food was disgusting, the waiters were rude and they even tried to add things on our bill for the amount of 25 euros, and when we called them on that, they tried to make us out for the bad guys, will never set foot in that place again

Though the island is breathtaking, our stay at this hotel was a nightmare. The service was appalling, leaving us feeling stranded and forced to depend on staff who were consistently unresponsive and unhelpful. We expected a relaxing escape, but instead faced constant frustration. The billing was a major issue. There were deliberate discrepancies, and it felt like the hotel was blatantly taking advantage of guests. For the price, it was nothing short of a rip-off. What made the experience worse was the management’s total lack of care. Despite raising concerns multiple times, they showed no interest in resolving issues or addressing feedback. The indifference to customer satisfaction was astonishing. Management’s attitude was dismissive, making it clear they do not value their guests. This ruined what could have been an amazing stay in such a beautiful location. I highly recommend visiting the island, but do yourself a favor and avoid staying at this hotel. The poor management and lack of service will only dampen your experience. Choose another accommodation to truly enjoy the island’s beauty without the stress.

Super nice ! Just beautiful island and hotel! We had see view room , which is quite big and with super big bed and cool balcony! It’s a paradise…Restaurants are super tasty and breakfast is top ! We were beginning of a season, not many visitors and it felt so so good ! I would recommend this place ! I wish to come back !

Let me begin by saying that the room had a very strong smell of humidity as soon as we walked in. The sheets felt damp, our clothing after being stored in the closet felt damp and smelled bad. Every time we took a shower the bathroom became a steam room as there was just a tiny window and no A/C nor a fan for air to circulate and became extremely dangerous and slippery as the flooring is made out of glossed tiles. The bottom of the shower has visible signs of mold. The service has been terrible. Before getting there we asked multiple times if we could book a car and the ferry/boat to take us to the hotel from the airport and they kept saying we had to call closer to arrival date which ended up being arranged the night before we got there. Additionally, as soon as we got to the hotel’s front desk we asked if we needed to make reservations for a specific restaurant we were interested in and they said it wasn’t needed, that we could’ve just asked the next day, once we went and asked the morning of the same day they said there was no availability. Our mini bar was never restocked in 3 nights we stayed, there was no soy, oat or almond milk for breakfast. Furthermore, the day we decided to take the ferry to Piantarella the hotel didn’t advise us that there were not going to be taxis at our arrival and didn’t offer to book any which resulted in us having to walk 6km on the side of the road with no pedestrian side walk to reach Bonifacio. When it was time for us to leave the said they would arrange the transfer to the airport for us. It is approximately €200 per room, although you pay for the service you are obliged to conform to their decision of time as you ride with other guests from the hotel and you cannot pick the time you want to leave, they arrange it for you. My international flight departed at 4:25 pm and they are arranged the transfer to leave from the hotel at 2:30 pm. From the hotel to the airport it takes approximately 45/55 minutes. Which means that if there is a slight delay for any reason I would miss my flight because of their poor arrangements. So I decided to organize the transfer on my own and take the public ferry that only has a few time slots and get to the airport 4 hours in advance. I have to say I won’t be coming back and I won’t recommend this hotel to any of my friends or colleagues. Very disappointed.

It seems that this hotel was last time renovated in the 90s. However it’s clean, but you can hear your neighbor clearly. The beach is very nice and the water crystal clear. Giacomo is a Great Physio ! Also the stuff is very friendly although sometimes incompetent. The booking manager and probably the hotel manager doesn’t know client management and should do something else in life. The food is not good. Some dishes are ok, but the bread is horrible. Breakfast is two stars. We left earlier as planned. For 2-3 days the island is nice, but longer is with this kind of food not possible.

This was one of the worst travel experiences of my life. The staff at the hotel can only be described as cruel. There is a seething vicious antagonistic anti-american sentiment. They take your money and make you feel horrible. The were literally vicious to us. Dirty looks, eye rolls and sideways glances. Not one smile, or hello, or good morning...in any language. I have never been treated in this fashion as a guest anywhere ever in all my travels. I was screamed at for asking for a cup of ice from a staff member during breakfast service. I was practically in tears by the time I left. Could not wait to get off of this island. The island is pretty the hotel is best described as fair, but the people are horrible, in every venue at the resort. There is a restaurant on the island called La Ferme-not part of des pecheurs and it was wonderful. The setting was gorgeous, the staff was so kind and friendly, the food was out of this world. We wanted to move in and stay with them for the remainder of our time! we were so thankful that someone was finally nice to us! if you have the bad luck of being a guest at des pecheurs-head straight for La Ferme and take shelter there!

Totally mismanaged hotel. Beach and water is great, but service level extremely low. Most of staff friendly and doing their best, but staying here feels like flying Ryanair. Nothing extra. Wi-Fi only works periodically and weak 4G signal. Gym equipment outdated and not well maintained. Same goes for the pool area with many loose boards and screws - dangerous. Did not even bother to try the spa as planned. Food quality is fine, but very little variation. Restaurant “La Ferme” 1 km from the hotel is a superior choice. For those that still wants to visit Cavallo, limit the stay to 2-3 days. Hotel manger should look for something else to do. A disgrace to the hospitality industry.

We were due to stay 3 nights but have cut it short to half a day.. Restaurant -The main lunch restaurant is open from 1pm to 2:30pm... that gives me 90mins to order and eat my food. -The beach restaurant charged us 84€ for 2 sandwich and 1 bottle of water (the shrimps in the sandwich were off and I had to take gaviscon..) -Only 1 restaurant is open for dinner Beach: -The beach by the restaurant isn't white and sandy as seen in the pictures of the hotel. -Kids screaming and running everywhere -Jellyfish and plastic washing up on the beach -Dont expect 5* service.. "here's your towel and put them in the black bin when you leave" -The other beaches of the hotel don't have any service. You need to get a towel at the Spa centre that is not open all the time, to be able to get a towel for the day. Rooms: -Beautiful view on to the sea but our room was located right above the restaurant, so we had the fumes of the kitchen during the lunch service. -The A/C smelt of humidity and the air filters haven't been changed in a very long time -The bathroom is small with a hop in hop out bathtub/shower situation -The room is a buzzkill and definitely not romantic.. (if you know what I mean) -There are no charging plugs in sight so I had to unplug the lamp to charge my phone -The mini bar has a fee of 5euros for a 30cl water bottle -The walls are very thin and you can hear what the next door neighbour is doing in the bathroom. Overall Property: -Rundown and understaffed -The buggy rental fee makes no sense at all.. 100€ for 11hours rental, 40€ for 1hour rental -Walking to find some beaches there is dog poop along the pathway and horrible trash smell -As some guests don't check out in time, the rooms for the new guests aren't available in time.. We want to thank Noemi at the bar for her kind help and to the SUPERSTAR woman behind the reception Clarosa ! Honestly, she deserves a pay rise. The setting is beautiful but SIX SENSES NEEDS TO COME IN ASAP AND SAVE THIS PLACE !!!!

Il s'agit d'un lieu que l'on peut qualifier d'unique d'ailleurs c'est le seul hôtel sur toute l'île les paysage sont magnifiques hors du temps un peu comme sur l'île de la digue aux Seychelles. L'hôtel est idéalement placé, il se fond dans le décor, la salle de restaurant comme le bar et la salle du petit déjeuner sont situés au bord de l'eau c'est sublime. La petite plage privée est un bijou juste à côté de l'hôtel, parfaitement bien équipée avec un restaurant de plage, un bar et des transats de qualité, le tout donnant sur une eau multicolores dans laquelle plongent d'énormes blocs de granite polis. Possibilité de louer des vélos électriques mais également des voiturettes de golf, si vous avez le courage vous pouvez parcourir l'ile à pied, il faut 1h00 à 1h30 pour la traverser environ Nous avons pris la grande suite pour deux, on peut facilement y loger à quatre elle est très bien située avec une terrasse plongeant sur l'eau, très vaste. Je n'ai pas mis 5 étoiles pour plusieurs raisons : d'une part l'hôtel lui-même est très vieillissant et aurait besoin d'un coup de jeune, n'oublions pas qu'il s'agit d'un hôtel quatre étoiles seulement, d'autre part le prix est à mon sens excessif, la piscine est une piscine des années 70 sans aucun charme et enfin et surtout le personnel n'est pas du tout au niveau, exclusivement italien parlant à peine français on peut le dire, peu compétent, très décevant. Dommage car les plats sont excellents. Quant au petit déjeuner, je ne peux même pas en parler tellement il est… comment dire?… Pas à la hauteur pour être poli Pour résumer Un endroit magnifique unique au monde, magique mais un hôtel vieillissant avec un personnel inadapté et un petit déjeuner digne d'un hôtel ibis ! Quoi qu'il en soit, dans la mesure où c'est le seul Hôtel de Ville, il ne faut pas se priver d'y aller car cette ile de Cavallo vaut vraiment le détour. Si j'ai un conseil à donner au propriétaire de l'hôtel, une telle ile mérite un hôtel cinq étoiles !
