The Editory Artist Baixa Porto Hotel

The Hotel was first class, the service excellent and it is reasonably located for the attractions in Porto. They also upgraded our room, which was greatly appreciated. We were there on a Bed & Breakfast basis and the Breakfast was good. I highly recommend the Hotel.

I had a great experience at this hotel. It was beautifully decorated with artistic elements and colorful schemes. The name of the hotel is largely displayed but you do have to be directly in front of the building to identify it. The hotel staff were friendly and pleasant. I received a complimentary drink on entry which was a pleasant treat for my birthday. I felt completely welcomed. They answered any of my questions and made accommodations, such as giving me a universal charger when I needed one. My room was a great size for one person but it would still be comfortable with 2 people. The room was cleaned every day and I even received a sweet treat :). I didn’t really like the shower design because I did I have to step over into the tub through a small opening (I could easily slip). However, that was a minor issue which could have probably been accommodated if I requested it. The food was decent. I did appreciate the buffet style, with a variation of food items. The hotel is located perfectly to nearby restaurants, stores, and attractions. I had the opportunity to save money by walking to most places. If I needed an Uber (highly recommend using as a transportation), I didn’t have to wait too long. Overall, I would recommend this hotel.

I had such a great stay here! The customer service was amazing, and I have to give a big shoutout to Francisca - she was incredible. She made sure everything was just right, answered all my questions with a smile, and genuinely seemed to care about making my stay perfect. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable, but it’s the staff, especially Francisca, that really made it stand out. I’d definitely stay here again. Thanks for such a great experience!

Our stay was absolutely perfect! The hotel was impeccably clean, and the staff were incredibly kind, offering great suggestions for visits in the area. The breakfast was delicious and had a variety of options. A special touch that made our experience unforgettable was the surprise birthday cake with a candle they prepared for my boyfriend's birthday. Highly recommend this place!

PROS 1) lovely location close to all the main attractions, can walk all the way to Ribeira in 15 mins, and to the Mercado in 5 mins 2) connected to the Artist Garden hotel so has some dining options too 3) It is a training hotel (internships from the college next door) also work here so its realy wonderful to give students an opportunity 4) knowledgeable front desk for recommendations etc 5) Uber is very inexpensive in Porto, you can travel easily 6) special mention to housekeeping staff who always were keeping the room well stiocked and clean CONS 1) there is no concierge service - so although the hotel claims to be 5* it is not; you will have to move your luggage around yourself if your bags are heavy or you are not very physically mobile All other things were EXCELLENT

Spacious room ! Everything that you needed. Short walk from the city center. Staff are very attentive. Special thanks to Inneś please forgive me if i spelt it wrong). She was very helpful at breakfast time. The chef came out to us personally to introduce herself. Very kind and very good eggs she cooked for us! Admin staff were amazing and very kind Special thanks to the beautiful lady who maintained our room wonderfully !
