The staff were the best feature of the hotel: very friendly and accommodating. Some previous reviewers claimed the hotel is dated, however, it is just the style of the hotel, which some might like, others won't. You can tell that furnishings were recently replaced/renovated. The place was also very clean. Breakfast - which you can opt for at 12eur/person was diverse and tasty: eggs, bacon, ham and cheese cuts, cakes, fruit, fresh salad, cakes, bread, cereal, etc It is also very close to the main train station (5 minutes walk), from where you can take the Marconi express to the airport for a EUR20 return ticket (7 minutes each way). We were situated in a room that is accessed to, in part by an elevator, and in part up and down some steps (in what seemed to be a courtyard). On the positive side, it seemed that it was the quieter wing of the hotel, but on the other hand, it was a bit tricky with a suitcase/pushchair... especially when we had to return to the reception as our keycard wasn't working. Some might also find it inconvenient that the hotel does not have an inhouse restaurant, however, the receptionist recommended a quiet, and homely restaurant just around the corner.
