Holiday Inn Johannesburg Airport

Lovely small hotel close to the airport. They provide shuttle buses that run every 30 minutes. Staff at the reception and staff in general is sweet and polite and was trying to accommodate and help. The only one thing is that you could hear the water running down the pipes loudly from the floor above and it was a little irritating. However I’ve managed to sleep well and enjoyed this short stay.

Firstly, I was put into a room that I did not book and was told I cannot change to a room that I had paid for because the hotel was overbooked. The front desk, eventually, moved me once I had pointed out that it was a health hazard to stay in the room they assigned to me because they had painted it that very day and I could still smell the paint fumes. After being moved, I was put into a room that I actually paid for. The toilet leaked and the shower was blocked. I will say though that the front desk was very friendly and tried to help as much as they could. All in all, it was not a good experience and I won't be staying again.

From fresh fruits and pastries to hot dishes, the quality of the food was impressive, and it was a fantastic way to start the day. Overall, my stay at the Holiday Inn Johannesburg Airport was delightful. The combination of the convenient location, excellent service, and great amenities like the buffet breakfast make it a hotel I would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Johannesburg. Whether you're on business or leisure, this hotel is a great choice for a comfortable and worry-free stay.
