Cozy and warm house with a wonderful garden and a lovely pool where you can rest and relax. James and Gilles are the perfect hosts, always kind. They suggested us some very nice restarutand and wineries around the village. The room was huge and silent and always clean. We surely come back

Incredible! This is the best hotel we’ve ever stayed at. James and Gilles have created a beautiful home, garden and atmosphere - a true inspiration for anyone interested in interior design! Every single detail in the house is carefully curated and the breakfast was equally perfect (fresh pastries, fruits and juice every day!) They were such warm and welcoming people and made it feel more like a home rather than a hotel. Also, they were happy to share their favorite spots in the area, which made it easy to plan our day trips. We highly recommend this beautiful hotel for anyone who’s looking for a unique, inspiring and relaxing experience in Burgundy. We will definitively be back soon!

With such great reviews you might think ‘can it be that good’? If you stay here you’ll be asking ‘how did that one person not rate this five stars’? Gil and James are such excellent hosts and were so helpful and friendly it will be a highlight of our trip. The place itself is like a dream and yes, it is as good as it looks in the photos. This was amazing!

This guesthouse is the gem of the village called Bois-Sainte-Marie. Beautiful hause with a small Annex. We stayed in the main house with the owners. The beautiful decoration is reflecting the personalities of the owners. The room we stayed was having Asian touches with objects and art they brought from their travels. James and Gilles were great hosts and made us feel "at home". The breakfast is a French style (viennoiseries and bread) with hand-made marmalades and variety of fruits. The French style garden is a piece of art itself and incudes a small swimming pool which is perfect for the warm days! Overall is an ideal place for a relaxing break in the French country side. I would suggest to grab the opportunity and book dinner with them (they do so on Fridays and Saturdays), Gilles is a great cook!!!

Une parenthèse enchantée de 4 jours dans un lieu hors du temps. Un cadre verdoyant et soigné dans lequel règnent la beauté et la sérénité à l’abri des regards. Nous étions dans la maison des invités, élégante, spacieuse et calme, décorée avec goût. Et puis il y a James et Gilles, (la cerise sur le gâteau) les magiciens de cette maison d’hôtes, tout en finesse et en élégance. Incroyables, discrets, disponibles, à l’écoute, ils préparent de merveilleux petits déjeuners dans leur demeure ou dans le jardin, vous prêtent leurs meilleurs conseils sur les lieux à visiter, les restaurants et les caves à découvrir, tout cela dans une ambiance décontractée et bienveillante.
