La Colina Hotel Cottage

I enjoyed a fabulous 10 days at La Colina and have no regrets! Federico made sure that everything was taken care of and simple. The bed is comfy and the hospitality is absolutely wonderful! Rosanna and Nairobi were the most amazing team and made the start of every day absolute perfection - so kind, helpful, and great cooks! I had a new adventure almost every day including a coffee tour and an in room massage. I traveled as a solo woman, and was a bit nervous at first, but it was so easy!! The only thing to keep in mind is that traffic in Bogota is no joke! It makes LA traffic seem like a breeze. It takes quite a while to get to and from some of the tourist areas and attractions so just prepare yourself. I would return by Uber every afternoon and Carmen and Thamara would greet me to see if I needed anything to eat or drink. The restaurant is lovely and the atmosphere is fabulous. Book it!

I went to La Colina where they hosted a wedding ceremony for my brother. It was such a fantastic time! The food is great and the hotel rooms are very homie and unique. The owner also speaks very good English and Spanish. Would recommend if you want a more homey modern hotel stay with amazing food in Colombia Bogotá!

A huge thanks to the staff for making our stay so memorable. You embraced our family into yours and we will not soon forget. Also -Frederico is a walking encyclopedia on Bogota. Anything you need or want- just ask him. He saved us a lot of time being stuck in the Worst traffic in South America. The art collection is truly incredible. The food is also outstanding. The catch of the day with passion fruit sauce is excellent. Also the breakfast leaves some 5 star hotels to shame. The property is beautiful. Great place to just come and escape the bustle of Bogota. We will definitely be back.

Wonderful place! Proprietor is friendly and speaks English fluently and inn is like a multilevel treehouse with fascinating art and sculptures everywhere. One of the best places we’ve ever stayed. Food was exceptional as well! Highly recommended!

La Colina is a hotel perfectly curated just for you. Everything from pre-check-in to check-out is terrific, and you will feel a sense of coziness when you arrive. You can feel that the owner took the time to decorate the room and carefully selected the sheets, mattresses, and pillows. Even for dinner, eating next to the fireplace with the beautiful Christmas tree felt like a dream. They have an amazing chef and use the freshest ingredients. La Colina is the best hotel in Bogotá, especially if you want to relax.

Everything, from the property to the restaurant, are just superb. The best part is the service they make you feel welcome as soon as you enter the property. They make you feel at home and among friends. It is a perfect place to go with your significant other. Federico made us feel like friends right from the start and Carmen was always there with a smile and made us feel at home. And the food is AMAZING!!! If you want a peaceful stay in Bogota this is the place.
