There is no doubt that this place is stylish and comfortable and it is in a great location, close to some of the best restaurants, cafes, galleries and shops. The staff are generally friendly and the breakfast is good. One thing we found frustrating and one of the reasons I didn't give it a five star rating that there was very little space in our rooms to store clothes and other personal items. We were on a long trip and would have liked to settle into what is trying to be a home rather than a hotel but this one thing made that impossible. Also, the second room we booked for our three adult children was much smaller than we'd expected. Other things, like having the only convenient power points next to our heads as we slept, niggled. And we had a few communication issues, which were, to be fair, not helped by my limited Spanish. Security is tight, necessary but a little inconvenient when you can't get out the gate. I love what Casa Legado is trying to do in creating a sense of home in a hotel but it didn't quite work for us.

I've never felt this welcome before! The personnel is available any minute of the day to answer any question. The breakfasts were so copious that we could go though the day with no lunch. The beauty of the place is like no other. Extremely well designed with excellent taste and yet very subdued. The neighborhood is residential and 20 mns away from the bustle and hustle. An easy Uber ride to downtown.

What to say? Was a quick in and out 2 nights . Everything very fine, perfect really. Even packed us a breakfast to eat in car on way to airport for early flight. There is really nothing more to say that does not make this review seem silly and superficial, it’s a very fine place.

This is my second time staying at Casa Legado. We returned because we enjoyed it soo much the first time and it was another fabulous experience. I highly recommend you stay if travelling to Bogata. The breakfast room is beautifully presented and delicious breakfast. Lovely little treats, I wont spoil the surprise. Stylish interior with lovely outdoor oasis. We will return

This home turned hotel is stunning and true to its name, very homey. The staff are responsive and all very nice. We arrived on the first night of our 8-day honeymoon in Colombia. They arranged for us to have dinner by the fireplace. We had this dining room to ourselves which was very romantic. They made a delicious burrata spread with crackers followed by grilled beef with chimichurri sauce, potatoes, and a lovely salad. Our room had hot water bottles under the covers which was a nice treat. Breakfast was delicious. All the decorations are elegant, playful and speak to a love of travel. The hotel is a very short cab ride to a popular dining neighborhood.

Casa Legado is wonderful place where you get personal attention and feel like you are staying with a friend at home. The house is quiet, beautiful, and relaxing. Food is wonderful and the staff is extremely kind. The neighborhood is filled with wonderful restaurants. We loved our stay.

Casa Legado is so pretty and welcoming that I can't imagine staying anywhere else in Bogotá. A former private home, its public areas are chic and comfortable, its rooms lovely, the landscaping gorgeous, and everything is maintained in pristine condition. I was given the room that once belonged to the son of the house, Alejandro, a horseman who had represented Colombia in the 1996 Olympics. Beautifully (& amusingly) decorated with horse paraphernalia, the room seemed to be outfitted just for me. I was in heaven, sleeping below two red & white Olympic poles, and awakening to the songs of birds in the morning. The staff is attentive and efficient, always ready to help and intent on making sure their guests have a superb stay.

The staff at Casa Legado are delightful and so helpful. My husband and I were there for a Spanish immersion class, so the set-up was ideal as the numerous meeting rooms and nooks allowed us to hold class at the hotel. It felt more like a home than a hotel. My low rating reflects my dissatisfaction with the essentials one expects in a hotel: adequate heat, hot water, door locks that work, drawers for clothes, and a closet. These basics were lacking. We requested a first floor room because of mobility issues. My understanding is there are only two such rooms. The hotel provided NO accommodations for individuals with limited mobility: no grab bars in the shower or near the toilet and no handrails on steep, slippery outside steps.

agradable saludable alimentacion divina atencion empatia calido lugar sonrisas permanentes superrrrrrrrrrrr We loved our stay with you! All staff & owner was super friendly 24/7. Food was amazingly fresh and all areas super clean. Like a beautiful home away from home - with much better service!
