Prive Hotel Bodrum

We spent 4 nights at Prive Hotel Bodrum and had a truly relaxing experience. The location is fantastic — close enough to the city centre but far enough to feel peaceful. The sea views from the property are incredible. The hotel itself is beautifully designed with a modern, boutique-style feel. Rooms were clean and comfortable, and the pool and beach areas were well-maintained with plenty of loungers. Service was consistently friendly and professional, and the all-inclusive food and drinks exceeded expectations — especially the à la carte options. The cocktails were also surprisingly good for an all-inclusive resort. Overall, I’d highly recommend Prive Hotel Bodrum for couples or solo travelers looking for a stylish, peaceful getaway. Would definitely return!

This is a nice hotel with some excellent staff but it does have a couple of drawbacks. We would say this is a high 3*/low 4* at best. We are a family of three adults staying in a sea-view room for 12 days. Here are some pro’s and cons: Pro’s: The view from the room and hotel is beautiful. You are overlooking a large bay with its stunning castle, and much boat/yacht activity on the water. The hotel has a lovely pool with a bar, and there is a beach deck with stairs down to the sea. Someone came round with a sunglass-cleaning service, a nice touch. The concierge operates a Whatapp group so are easy to contact (not late at night) and respond quickly. They also send sweet messages wishing you a lovely day, another nice touch. We hired a car which was valet-parked and brought round to us efficiently every time we left the hotel. There is a really cute water taxi which docks right next to the hotel and takes you over to Bodrum Town. It runs until midnight, and cost 1.5 euros pp each way. It seemed to run around every 15 mins. A lovely way to arrive into Bodrum, especially around sunset. Cons: Our room was compact with a very small bathroom so tight for three adults. It would be adequate for two. The ac wasn’t very effective so we asked for a couple of fans but the hotel didn’t have any, so unfortunately our sleep quality wasn’t very good. The service in the restaurants was nice but the range and quality of food was quite limited compared to what we usually experience when travelling. Good 3* rating. Even though it was AI we skipped lunch each day and by the 2nd week didn't want to eat in the restaurant. The a la carte made a nice change for the one evening, but lacked atmosphere/vibe. Now comes our main gripe - the NOISE from the evening entertainment. We had seen other reviews about this but tbh we hadn’t appreciated how much this would affect our enjoyment. It was really awful. There is nightly live music right beside the hotel from 9pm to midnight and it is deafening. We have no idea why it had to be so loud but we’ve never experienced anything like it before. We were in a room furthest from the music but even with our doors closed you couldn’t read, watch TV and you certainly couldn't go to sleep, so we’d have to sit and wait until midnight every day so that we could go to sleep. When you have been out all day exploring and you just want to go to bed, it was exhausting having to stay up waiting for it to finish. If you want to sleep before midnight, or like to spend some time on your terrace in the evenings, this hotel is not for you. Regrettably we were also at the end of the hotel next to a beach club and often they would be playing music until at least 2am. The only way you could cope would be to go and watch the entertainment, but a lot of it wasn’t our thing. We do wish we had listened to the reviews and booked a different hotel. Such a pity.

The hotel was absolutely amazing the staff can’t do enough for you. It was very clean & the food was amazing. Our view from our balcony overlooking the sea was amazing. I have been to this hotel now 5 times it just ticks all the boxes. My daughter who came with me has been all over the world & she said this is by far the best hotel she has ever been too. We will definitely be returning next year & I would recommend this hotel 100%.

This hotel is a tale of 2 halves; none that are totally bad. Before we arrived we had read the reviews; they are accurate and one of the reviews said “just go”. I echo that review “just go!”. We arrived in the early hours of the morning to an empty reception which was a little off putting; we waited sometime for check in which isn’t great when you are tired and it’s late at night. We were taken to our room which was a sea view with a balcony. The room left us disappointed; it was basic and very tired. The bathroom was tiny but had a good shower. It was at this point we started to think we had made a mistake and were wondering whether to stay. Once we slept we woke and opened the curtains - wow - what a view! Fantastic. We went down to breakfast the following morning and immediately changed our minds. It suddenly felt right. The breakfast was great and the lady who makes the omelettes was so happy and helpful - this became a theme across the whole hotel without exception. We spent the day on the beach which has steps into the sea for when you need to cool down. The pool area is only small and limited beds in the “right” place to catch the sun. In the evening we ventured to the buffet; it was ok; the staff and management team work so hard to make everything perfect. Evening entertainment was not for us and we would most evening head to Bodrum on the boat taxis. The rooms as mentioned were basic and on the whole clean. They were comfortable enough. Could maybe benefit from coffee makers; more attention to the cleaning of the bathroom and renovating. As I said hotel of 2 halves. The beach service is the best we have ever experienced; we have stayed at some great hotels but none have the service this one does. The beach bar for lunch is fabulous again service above and beyond. You don’t have to ask they anticipate everything. The Al a Carte restaurant was excellent we really enjoyed our meal; again service outstanding. In all restaurants there is always a Maitre d walking the room who spots anything a miss; there is usually a Chef - exec/head in the restaurant making sure everything is right and the management team are often seen “walking the room”. There is a roof terrace for drinks open lost of the day/night - fantastic spot. Could benefit from some more seating as some evenings it would be full. Overall it’s a hotel that is outstanding due to its staff, management team. It does need some investment but I think they know that. The public areas were spotlessly clean which is not always the case in some hotels. I would say again “just go”!

A lovely hotel with the most amazing staff, that's what gives them the 5 star rating. They were attentive always and so happy to please. The hotel is a bit tired and the rooms are very basic although we had a sea view balcony one it was very small and tired. There was only one pool which was very small considering the size of the hotel so you had to her up early to bag a slot. The breakfast and lunch was amazing, the evening food had a good choice but was always cold so.not great. I can't name all of the staff as they were all.beautiful and made the holiday. The entertainment needs looking into as it was dreadful, ok for 15 mins if you ate English then went into a Turkish house party disco so not great. Overall I would recommend this hotel if your 30 to 40 but.would not stay again as caters for the Russians, German ect. I love Bodrum so will stick with Torba Again the staff.are out of this world xx

We have really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The view from the balcony over Bodrum is superb and the water taxi, which goes every 10 minutes direct into Bodrum is a real bonus. The rooms and hotel area are kept wonderfully clean and the food selection is excellent and cooked to the highest standards. All the staff have been so helpful and caring. I would recommend this hotel.
