Lovely apartment situated on the outskirts of Bo'ness. Perfect for visiting Bo'ness and ideally situated to explore the wider central belt with easy access to Edinburgh, Glasgow, Stirling and Falkirk.
On the first floor (not ground floor), this home is modern and well-appointed, with lounge/dining room, and a separate kitchen. There is plenty of space for up to four guests, with a king-size bed in one bedroom and a double bed in the other.
The whole house is yours and there is a designated parking space.
Bo’ness is a historic town with an industrial heritage. It has two major supermarkets and numerous food outlets; both sit in and take away.
The John Muir Way passes through the town and is popular with long and short distance walkers. Roman remains can be seen at the Kinneil estate which is on the western edge of the town. Bo’ness is home to the Hippodrome, Scotland’s oldest public cinema and recently featured in Good Omens 2, to the Scottish Railway Museum and the Bo’ness Motor Museum. Nearby are Blackness and Midhope Castles which were both used in the filming of Outlander. Slightly further afield in Falkirk are The Kelpies and The Falkirk Wheel. Take a trip on the Maid of the Forth under the three bridges departing from nearby Queensferry.
The apartment is fifteen minutes drive from Edinburgh airport. During the day buses leave from Bo’ness regularly for Edinburgh (approximately every hour) and other destinations in Central Scotland. The M9 is just a few minutes drive from the apartment and gives access to the motorways.
Access to Edinburgh is straightforward. Although Bo'ness is 25 minutes to Edinburgh by car. You can park at Linlithgow train station (approx. 3 miles away with free parking) and take the 20-minute train ride into Waverley or Haymarket in the centre of Edinburgh. Trains leave approximately every 15-20 minutes and the last train out of Edinburgh leaves at 23.45. Great stay
We had a great time in a lovely and clean apartment! The recliner couch was the highlight for us and everything was convenient and comfortable. Great quality items in the kitchen and everywhere with lots of thought into details. Thanks and would highly recommend!

An excellent VRBO. It was sparkling clean, luxurious toiletries, the kitchen was well stocked with quality dishes and cooking utensils. Our host was very kind and made sure we were well taken care of. We fully recommend this VRBO.

Amazing Apartment
Never seen such a lovely and detailed furnished apartment. Furthermore we had everything we needed to relax and the apartment was extraordinary clean. Ken had a large selection of toiletries and there were even some groceries waiting in the kitchen to prepare a breakfast. The technical equipment was also exceptionally diverse, for example a dishwasher, bedside lamps with mobile phone charging function and an automatically adjustable couch. The cookware was superb. The location was quiet and very close to Edinburgh. We were really impressed and would come back anytime.

Bo’ness apartment
This was our favorite place to stay on our two week trip! Ken was the best host, always responding to questions and giving us wonderful tips about Edinburgh and area. And the apartment far exceeded our expectations. He had it well stocked for us to enjoy and be comfortable! Highly recommend this host and his property! Thank you!!

Just like home!
This is an excellent property well situated to drive to Edinburgh, Sterling, Glasgow. We were personally welcomed by Ken who walked us through everything we needed to know about the apartment. We would stay here again in a heartbeat! We received a bottle of wine and basic groceries, milk, bread, butter, orange juice, water, tea, sugar and our favourite Nespresso coffee! The bathroom was also well equipped with anything you could possibly need!

All I can say is fantastic
I recently had the pleasure of staying in this fantastic two-bedroom apartment that truly exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, our host Ken welcomed us with warmth and hospitality, ensuring that we felt right at home. Providing help with local transport links and answering all off our questions.
The apartment itself was beautifully decorated, blending modern style with cozy touches. The living space was spacious and inviting, perfect for relaxing after a long day. Both bedrooms were well-appointed, featuring comfortable beds and plenty of storage space. The natural light pouring in made the entire space feel bright and cheerful.
One of the standout features was the fully equipped kitchen, which made cooking meals a delight. The host provided thoughtful touches like fresh coffee and snacks, which were a lovely surprise.
Location-wise, the apartment was conveniently situated only a 15min drive to the tram and then easy access to Edinburgh.
Overall, this apartment is a hidden gem, and I can't recommend it highly enough. Whether you're traveling for business or leisure, this is the perfect place to stay. I can’t wait to return!

Trip to Edinburgh
Ken’s flat was perfect for our trip to Edinburgh. We rented a car and enjoyed being close to the city without having to be right in the thick of it, Ken provided us with some basic grocery staples which was very kind of him, and his place was lovely. Thanks Ken!
