the stay was like being at home away from home, the staff with warm hearts welcomed us and made our stay one of the most memorable stay ever. dinner was also superb and delicious and prepared well and much gracias and kudus to the team and management at Road Lodge Bloemfontein Airport,

Got to the Road lodge to find out it is a construction site, construction will commence at 7am, sorry if you had any desire to sleep in or have forewarning or information to find alternative accommodation. The room I had prebooked and paid for wasn't available, so make a plan in the moment for another room. I was put into a Twin room with my wife and learn evening shower on Friday will give you just warm water only. There is no toilet brush in the bathroom. USB port by the 1 bed didnt work to change phones. The Room door locks don't close/latch easily on any of the room doors, so for anyone entering or leaving their rooms, they have to slam their doors closed, that includes those leaving at 5:30am, 5:45am, 6:30am...11pm, midnight...doors slamming constantly as guests were moving about so you do not have the option to get much sleep, 4 or 5 hours sleep per night is about as good as it gets - unacceptable when we are there for 2 nights, one cannot function correctly on that little sleep.

After a long day's travelling and having been up since 04:30am it is great to be warmly welcomed as if you are family by a hotel as I was at the Road Lodge in Bloem, great room, great food and a peaceful night's rest in a clean room. Excellent stay.

The absolute worst! Had to cut my stay short from 5 nights to one night. I would not recommend anyone to sleep here. It is filthy and uncomfortable. The bed is hard as a rock. The rooms are small and outdated. There are spiders and ants. The place is not maintained. No complimentary water. You have to go to an ironing room with only 3 irons, can’t iron in the room. No shower caps and body lotion. No room service. The inners are blankets. I can go on and on, I’ve never experienced such a terrible hotel.

Great place to stay at for a night before you fly out, close to the airport. The food there is amazing. there is no variety when it comes to the food. The staff there is always willing to help if there is a need. There are plenty parking bays there and there is sufficient security as well.

I have stayed at the Road Lodge Bloemfontein on several occasions while travelling for work, it is my go-to in Bloemfontein. The staff are friendly, the rooms are always immaculately clean, and since it is just outside of town you don't have the city sounds so you get a great night' rest.

My experience was excellent at Road Lodge Bloemfontein. Clean rooms, excellent food and most of all the friendliness of all the staff members going out of there way to make there clients feel right at home . Well done ! I will definitely stay over again .

Service was excellent, I was moved to another room swiftly when I found out it had two single beds, and I was looking for a double bed. Staff offered to carry my bags as well. Staff were also quick to fix minor mistakes when I pointed out that the spoons were not on the table in one morning. Easy going staff!
