Bryn Meadows Golf, Hotel & Spa

Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely setting and a good breakfast. Slept really well. My only issue is the quality of the rooms. They are very dated and badly need a full refresh. They are not worthy of a 4 star hotel. That said our overall stay was good value.

Came here as a group for my daughters Hen Party gathering. Reception staff were lovely, helpful and cheery . Pool was OK although difficult with 4 lanes for swimming 1 being right on the steps area. Hardly any seating or relaxation beds . Hydro pool was scummy and tepid at best . We went in groups of 2 for our treatment and very mixed reviews 4 satisfied 5 not so . Can honestly say never had such a lack lustre experience ( HEAD MASSAGE ) felt like Granny was stroking her cat !! At 1 point l thought she had gone to sleep . Not relaxing not invigorating at all . This aside we were all happy amongst ourselves and weren't deterred from having a nice time . FOOD Young staff waiting the tables were polite and helpful. Older staff member as miserable as sin from the off. Asked about 2 dishes stating i had a mushroom allergy ( not once asked if there were any allergies amongst us ) and a they contained it i settled happily with the chicken skewers as did 3 other guests i upgraded to the sage coated chips . After 1 hour !! Our meal came and we were shocked to see a mound of cous cous ( usually grainy individual rice like pieces) on putting in my fork the whole Mound lifted it was like a gluey porridge ,couldn't be separated and totally inedible. Hey ho on with the fries 🍟 Mc Donald's copies at best . No flavour thin cold and lifeless not wanting to cause a fuss I started on the chicken skewers to find .... them laced with mushroom . Later found out so was the cous cous! At this point I had to point out to the more mature member of staff how poor and downright dangerous my meal was . SHE looked put out !! and without apology,huffed and asked " well what else do you want ? " like i was a naughty schoolgirl . I was a bit hesitant as obviously I had 8 other guests to consider and if it would take another hour to cook they would have to wait for me . More sighing .so I chose a steak after around 30 mins it arrived . Chips were better and at least warm . Vine tomatoes lovely .steak at £29 awful dry to the point of curling and chewy and tasteless. We were given a free drink for our troubles .Bar one , soft drinks all round as we all drove . 6 out of 9 guests left there food also . Mash was instant mash . Food dry cold and tasteless throughout . Not one apology was given. We left flat ,hungry and disappointed ! £100 each . Not a chance was it worth it !! We spoke to the older lady about our thoughts and said we weren't happy she confirmed her manager wouldn't be back until Monday. Sadly no call and no apology ! Special occasion ? I would avoid

What an amazing setting, overlooking the golf range and valley beyond! A perfect setting to enjoy the amazing food we were served! The food was to dye for and the staff and service we receive was so welcoming! Just made us feel so at home. Absolutely, would highly recommend 😍

Venue is lovely. Staff professional and pleasant. The spa package was very good value for money. The food was nice. Will go back again for sure

First off, and on behalf of the 35 of us who went to Bryn Meadows I wanted to say a massive thank you to each and everyone of you ,the staff at Bryn Meadows, for the continued welcome we receive each and every time that we go to Bryn (this was our 4th Year). The staff are absolutely amazing and you should be very proud of the way they represent Bryn Meadows...... They can never do enough for us - Scott & Jake in Winners bar, Katie & Tash in the Pro shop, Jake & Aubrey in the restaurant, Lucy & Emma at Front Desk & Nia at the Blas Bar.

Birthday treat From check in to check out, it was a lovely birthday treat spa break for my husband a lovely experience, we had lunch, spa treatment, evening meal and overnight stay. Liced it xx
