We stayed here for a weekend and we couldn't have asked for more. We had room 1, which for a couple was a little snug, but it did us. The bed was amazingly comfortable and the whole atmosphere was lovely. Having a gluten allergy is always tricky, but we were made to feel that it was no trouble at all to cater for and that was the personal touch. We were only a short walk from the pier and B/pool North train station is a ten minute walk. We would have absolutely no qualms about staying here again, but will book direct rather than a comparison site. The only negative comment is I don't think they would appreciate us taking the comfortable bed home!! We'd have no problems staying there again or even recommending them

Absolutely fantastic place to stay the best in Blackpool by far that we have stayed in rooms were lovely breakfast was also top drawer and so was the grouse definitely be back Meg was absolutely the best hostess you could wish for nothing was to much trouble it was smallest of touches that made it memorable

Upon arrival we were greeted by Meg who looked after us from start to finish. The rooms were spotless, bed comfortable and pillows perfect. Lovely white towels displayed on the bed along with a little person touch of a caramel egg, after eight and packet of traditional sweets. Beautiful fluffy dressing gowns were on the back of the door. I was checking out prior to arriving would a hair dryer be available which it was. I also read that there would be hot chocolate and marshmallows in the room which I thought "Yeah right", but they were! My breakfast was cooked exactly as I had asked. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is also a two minute walk from the train station. The next time I am in Blackpool I will definitely stay here again.

Unbelievably friendly. Megs, the hostess could not do enough for us. Breakfast is any cereal, toast fresh orange, tea or coffee and a lovely full English breakfast. This was my second visit and my third is booked. This little family run place is cosy and spotless. The rooms are comfortable with lots of little extras which make you feel realy welcome and comfortable.

Stayed for two nights as visiting Winter Gardens for a show. Great location and managed to park on the road side for our stay making parking free which was a bonus. While I felt our room was compact, it was very clean, and had a kettle with plenty of coffee, tea and milk available, there were also extra touches which made our stay comfortable, so the size wasn’t an issue. The en-suite was clean and there was plenty of hot water for showers. Breakfast was was tasty and warm, definitely a great start to our day. We had a gin on the Friday evening as we decided not to go out, there was plenty to choose from be very reasonably priced, Meg was good company too. Huge thanks to Meg and Simon (though we didn’t get to meet him) We will definitely return if we come back for any more shows, as our weekend here was great. Well worth a visit.

Four of us stayed here for two nights as we’d booked afternoon tea at the Tower Ballroom (which was fabulous!). We were lucky enough to be able to park on the road outside. Meg was very welcoming and showed us to our rooms, our room in particular was a little small but was clean and comfortable and very well decorated with lots of extra touches such as chocolate & sweets as well as tea, coffee, water & hot chocolate. The en suite was very clean and the shower worked very well. The breakfasts were really tasty & hot. We would most definitely stay here again if visiting Blackpool & thoroughly recommend the hotel.

Friendly greeting from Meg, the co- owner who kindly carried our heavy case to our room (No. 1) We were aware when we booked that the room was small but what it lacked in size it made up for in cleanliness, quality curtains, bedding, pillows, fluffy towels and bathrobes. Nice touches in the room - bottled water, marshmallows for hot chocolate, plentiful supply of tea, coffee, milk etc. Some sweets and chocolate as well. Bathroom had cotton wool, nice hand wash, antibacterial hand jel and flannel for removing make up. Breakfast was a treat with good choice of cereal, yoghurt, orange juice,tea or coffee. Main breakfast containing good quality bacon, sausage and other items was cooked to perfection, grease free,nicely presented and hot! The bed was very comfortable and we were not disturbed by noisy guests or banging doors etc.! We wish hosts Meg and Simon continued success and recommend the establishment to anyone wanting a relaxing and peaceful break.

Stayed here for the weekend, the B&B is spotless and tastefully decorated. The bed is extremely comfortable and Meg and Simon go out of their way to ensure you have a comfortable stay Meg served drinks after watching the darts and was lovely company, we loved her other name she uses for Simon (can not disclose:) Breakfast; cereal, coffee, fresh orange juice & the full English breakfast was tasty and most importantly HOT Would not hesitate to book again when we next visit Blackpool

Such a great little find! We stayed for 1 night and were in room 4 which has the huge window at the front. Beautifully presented and decorated room: comfy bed, everything you would need in the room also such as tea/coffee/hot chocolate along with marshmallows! Good appliances too.. Smeg kettle! Bathroom was clean and roomy, plenty of hot water. The shower pressure was poor and we ended up having to take a bath but that didn’t spoil anything for me personally. Bedding was super clean and fresh too. Breakfast was delicious, freshly cooked, piping hot yum! Would return for sure. Parking isn’t available but there is street parking or a public car park just a two minute walk away. Really close for winter gardens/tower.
