I was only here for the one day & night but from stepping through the door I was made to feel welcome, the hosts were very helpful and were on hand to offer any help or provide information about things to do during the stay. It was very clean, well presented and the room was comfortable and kept. I looked forward to the full English breakfast provided with the booking and was not disappointed, as well as being offered multiple varieties of foods/drinks, I can honestly say I will be booking future stays at this lovely couples' home & Guest house.

We had one night stay spare of the moment Caron and Laurie perfect host room cosy tea coffee facilities comfortable bed lovely view towards Blackpool tower breakfast brilliant anything you asked for you got would definitely recommend will be back

This is a hidden gem in Blackpool There was a warm welcome from the lovely hosts nothing was too much trouble.Tbe hotel is decorated to a high standard throughout.Our room was bigger than expected bed was super comfy and the room was well stocked with toiletries fluffy towels and best of all biscuits .The shower was great and bathroom was super clean .The breakfast was amazing and cooked to perfection .The hosts were super knowledgeable about the area restaurant s pubs and best places to visit .can't wait to return

We were looking for a one night stay in Blackpool as we were visiting for a show. Booked the Penhryn on the strength of the reviews Great value stay for our one night. Lots of street parking outside on the side streets. A couple of minutes walk from the cliffs tram stop. Or £5/6 taxi into town. A very warm welcome from our hosts, who took all our details. Explained everything thoroughly. We were shown to our rooms, which were clean and comfortable. Nice little touches like bottled water, biscuits, hot chocolate etc. Ordered the full English for the following morning at the 1st sitting of 8:30-9:15. What a fabulous choice for brekky. Help yourself to 3 juices. Then you can have yoghurts, cereals, toast, tea or coffee or fresh fruit. That is before the full English arrives. Which came piping hot and really sets you up for the day. All in all a great find for a one night stay and if we are looking for similar in 2025 then we will be back. Merry Christmas from us all

We stayed just one night, 30 november, Nan and Gdad with two granddaughters in one room. Our impressions are as follows. There are a couple of areas that need a little TLC but these are hugely outweighed by the delightful service from the owners, in fact the odd quirkiness adds to the experience. Parking is on the street so may not necessarily be close to the hotel. We arrived around 1 pm and parked around 80 metres away. BREAKFAST!! Is included and is impressive. We were offered ALL of the following: fresh fruit, cereals, yoghurt, toast, FULL English, tea, coffee, juices, jams. Best breakfast ever and well cooked. The hotel is not 5 star but is well worth the money and a delightful change from the usual sterile hotel chains. Will we return? Absolutely!

The owners of The Penrhyn were very friendly & welcoming. Great location just a couple of minutes from the sea front. Enjoyed a really comfortable nights sleep, cosy & warm. Breakfast was excellent & great choice of foods. We will definitely be back to stay again next year!

Stayed for a night, hosts were welcoming and very friendly offering useful tips for our visit..room was very clean, bed comfortable, we had everything we needed. Great breakfast. Good location 30 min walk to the tower and tram stops at the end of the road. Very good value for money we will definitely return.

Second stay at the penryn ,great place ,lovely breakfast hosts Caron and Laurie are brilliant hosts and very knowledgeable about local area. The rooms are very nice with tea ,coffee ,bottled water and biscuits ,beds are so comfortable, you are guaranteed a good night's sleep ,already booked for next year.

We only stayed one night at this hotel but the hosts were so warm and welcoming, with great advice about local attractions, tram tickets and lots more. Our room was lovely and clean with toiletries, tea and coffee making facilities and en suite. The cooked breakfast was so tasty and filling, wish we had booked a longer stay but will definitely been returning next year.
