I could not sleep due to the stench in the room. It was a combination of mold and old cigarette smoke. The bathroom was filthy behind the toilet, especially. Absolutely awful. Breakfast included scrambled eggs and what looked like cut-up hot dogs. No fruit.

I booked this for my son on his way back to college. It was his Worst hotel experience ever. The first room he was given had dirty sheets, old food in the refrigerator and standing water in the tub. He was moved and the next room had bugs in the bed, clumps of matted hair and the bathroom and a terrible odor of mildew. Avoid this place at all costs…..

We had a very nice experience. Specially with the morning manager who accommodated our request and had breakfast out at 5:30 AM for early travelers. The room was clean however the shower curtain was not attached and it made a mess on the floor

When I travel with family I try to book Marriott properties because they usually have reasonable properties and capable staff. That was not the case in the Fairfield Suites in Bismarck. One of the beds in our room had a sharp metal piece sticking out that bruised my wife's ankle. The other bed squeeked. When we asked for help, something as simple as a piece of tape to secure a towel to the metal piece, we were told by the staff they could not help. There were a number of other problems, such as desk lights that did not work and other less important service failures. This property does not measure up to Marriott standards or the prices it charges.

There was an outstanding young lady that checked me in at the front desk. Lots of potential in that girl! Makes up for the hotel needing some definite upgrades to match other Fairfield properties. Thanks

The hotel staff was very friendly but the accommodations need to be upgraded and improved. Location is good but needs an overhaul. The pool was supposed to be open but locked and plaster coming off the walls. Should do better. Everything needs some help.

Rooms were clean and well kept. The staff was friendly. We stayed for 1 night and didn't have any problems. We were passing through the area on the way to Montana. The hotel has plenty of dining close by as well.

We checked in a little late tonight and Diego at the front desk was so kind, helpful, & welcoming. Employees like Diego are why we are so loyal to Marriott. He truly welcomed us after a long day of travel and made sure we had all the things we needed did a great stay.

This is a wonderful choice to stay when in the Bismarck area. The ladies at check in were super helpful. We received free water at check-in plus there was a table full of complimentary snacks in the lobby PLUS free wine and beer in the cooler. The breakfast was hot - eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy and fresh cut fruit. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable.
