Sleep was good, shame about not having enough staff on in the bar area. We waited over an hour for some chips. Staff was great, hotel was clean and the breakfast was good and freshly cooked but they didn’t have any black pudding. But the value for money was amazing.

Really disappointed with this hotel or this experience. Stopped here for 2 nights in December 2024. Wife was having an operation at the QE hospital and thought this was a great base for visiting the hospital which it was . But the room was not the best, heating didn’t work and told reception who said they would reset it, whatever that means, which didn’t make any difference so we had no heating for the 2 nights I was here and it was freezing out . The window had a big gap around it which was blowing a gale through it. Also the high back chair in room had a big split in it and if anyone who sat back in it would collapse. I told the reception about all these problems and they were really friendly and helpful but nothing was resolved .Always pleased with my stays at a premiere inn but this one is not the best

Stayed at this hotel as it's slightly away from the centre of Birmingham, but has ample free parking (a closed down TGI next door means there's a HUGE amount of spaces!) Fast check in on arrival (even though we were early the guy on reception went off and checked if the room was ready). The attached bar is only really for people staying in the hotel, so it was pretty quiet and easy to get served, just hope they decide to keep it open as it's a big place for not a lot of customers (the original beefeater style pub changed to be premier inn restaurant). The only issue is with it being a separate building, there's no late night drinking, so unless you take a bottle back to the room, you can't sit and chat with others staying in the hotel. They could almost do with a seating area they could close off from the main bar. They've kept the food menu simple, which is a good idea to not end up with loads of waste, but fish & chips was great. Breakfast both days we stayed was good, you literally choose what you want in the way of a cooked breakfast, so it's done to order and means it's fresh. Yes, that will mean a longer wait than a buffet, but I prefer that. Hotel is a 20min walk to an area with a cinema, bowling, bars, etc and opposite that you can get a Tram right into the city for £3 each (return). For how busy the town was due to the xmas markets, I'm glad we decided to stay further out. Staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful, Alan (I think - we'd had a few bottles of wine by the time we left!) who worked in the bar Friday was a great laugh as we spent the entire evening in there. Overall though, if we return to Birmingham, this would definitely be my hotel of choice.

A room that looked tired .paint missing in bathroom skirting Bed squeeked when I sat on it Not a good sleep I didn't feel value for the money I paid And was very shocked at the room I'm a little shy to ask for or complain to people I try to expect the work done for me I don't own the hotel so why can't Managers see there own neglect Maybe they to live in tired houses

After last week’s experience this week here at hagley road been much better, curry’s back on the menu, this week have to thank Talulah well that’s what name she gave me but every one was calling her Lucy as very friendly would sort everything above and beyond keep it up

Extremely basic menu. Fish and chips with no peas, curry without rice. Pepperoni pizza is a cheese pizza with half a dozen pieces of pepperoni. Chair for desk broken but not changed despite asking more than once. Window fails to close fully making room cold and noisy. Reception said there was a knack to room 10 window and they would close it. Didn’t happen. If it is a known problem well w.t.f..

Peaceful and very friendly. Will come again. Staff were very nice and welcoming atmosphere. Very clean and spotless. Beds were comfortable and had a good nice sleep. Thank you to the staff. Look forward to booking sometime again. Thanks again.

The restaurant was under staffed, as the menu is very small now believe the curry has been stopped, premier inn what are you doing since you closed the beef eater you lost it now used to be. Good hotel to stay out local for work you get the starter with main at same time could not eat the chips which had gone cold and felt was being rushed

Had a lovely stay at the premiere inn stayed with my husband to go shopping and visit family, location was ideal for this. We also found the check in process really stress free and the receptionist Rachel was extremely helpful she went above and beyond for us by telling us the best places to park and shop ect! Was overall a lovely experience.

Hotel was immaculate. Halloween decorations were superb. Rachel checked us in quickly and was an amazing help, very informative and service with a smile. Meal deal was a great value. We will definitely be back in the new year to see you all again.

Been staying on & off for the last 3 weeks I have to say that the reception team have been fantastic. Rachel has been brilliant. No problem has been too much for her. A real asset to the team & the business Keep up the great work & thanks for looking after me 👍🏻👍🏻🤩

Stayed here for few days. Hotel was clean, check in was easy. Room was lovely and spacious. All staff was friendly but I got to give a special mention to Rachel. Rachel was professional and helpful… she took time to answer all our questions and queries. Thank you we will return

Had a lovely stay and would definitely stay here again. The beds was fantastic and there is loads around to do. Would also like to state that Rachel went above and beyond to go out of her way to make out time here more lovely I would definitely recommend this premier inn

All the staff were very helpful and friendly, particularly Nicola and Morgan. On arrival, Morgan made our check-in easy . Ww were very pleased with the breakfast the next day, where Nicola served us and dealt with our questions. The breakfast was very good value. We shall stay there again.
