It is what it is, the room was clean, the staff friendly and located close to the airport. The hotel is looking its age and the communal areas are a bit tired, but as I say “it is what it is”. It’s a perfect base if you’ve an early flight from Birmingham airport. The receptionist was friendly enough, the staff in the restaurant were also attentive - even though there was a fight. But for the price it’s all acceptable and understandable. Clean bathroom, clean room, clean bed. Fine

An old place, I've been to other Travelodge hotels before but this one was really bad. The room was too small and you had to walk a long way to get to your room.

Hotel is a little bit dated but very handy Location for anyone attending the NEC. Bus brings you right to the door. It seems to be co-joined to a restaurant and although the Hotel doesn't do breakfast, you can get breakfast there for a very reasonable price.

Large car park, but needed to pay £10/24hrs. Convenient to Manchester Aitport. There is no air conditioning at room and the room was quite hot under the heat wave. Breakfast was nice.

房間很小，就是汽車旅館的樣子，同事説在屋裡都能聽到汽車的聲音，服務也一般。WI-FI需要付費使用，而且沒有吹風機。但是是附近價格比較便宜的了。

Awful. Not upgraded as the website said. Small, pokey bedroom. No air con, no blinds on windows that look straight onto carpark, had to close curtains making it very hot & stuffy. No privacy. Very noisy with windows open. Old toilet and shower, old wardrobe, table & one chair. Terrible. Paid for WiFi, but only works on two devices. WHAT?!?! Also VERY slow. Quite frankly the worst decision we have made for somewhere to stay.

The stay was disappointing compared to other Travelodges we have used. A problem with cold water tap flow. Both soap dispensers were broken. Room heating not adequate, temperature only just bearable. Exterior entrance doors did not self close allowing cold into passages. On the plus side, staff were friendly and helpful. The attached Toby Inn was accessible without having to go outside and food was good. Toby staff were a great team, very welcoming and efficient.

Simple and authentic hotel, room was clean and everything in its place, Have to say the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, I had the pleasure of being assisted by Beth during my stay, she greeted me with a warm smile and was incredibly professional. She went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable. Highly recommended.

The staff are the most friendly I can say. Beth has been especially welcoming and I cannot speak highly enough of her and the rest of the staff I have spoken to. Beth has a chirpy personality and loves to engage in conversation. All are very willing to share their stories and make a connection with you.

Hotel was fine could hear guests in room next door speaking on a laptop bathroom had plaster coming off but everything else was OK.

I travel up and down the country for work frequently staying in Travelodge and often at Travelodge Sheldon. At my stay at Sheldon, I found Beth who checked me in to be more than helpful, had an issue with my heater which she fixed instantly. Her customer service is amazing and deserves recognition
