Reception services very good. Staff very courteous.

This hotel deserves 5 stars. It has brilliant accessibility into the Bullring shopping centre, into the heart of Birmingham and entertainment. The staff are friendly, talkative and the food is superb. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel.

We have had a disappointing stay at the Birmingham City, Exchange Square on 17 April 2025. We were in Premier Plus room No. 1102. It was a disaster from the start to the finish. The bedside lamp had a bulb missing. I reproted this and a receptionist came with a buld and fixed it. Then there were no coffee pods for the coffee machine. When I asked for these I was told that they did not have any. The final disasterous experience was in the morning when we went to have a shower. The soap dispensers were empty! We have always valued our stays at Premier Inn but this is a second bad experience we have had.

Booking was easy, checking in was simple, the room was spacious and comfortable and the food was excellent. Access to the Hotel, and it's location, were ideal for our needs, I would highly recommend this hotel, particularly with regard to shops and bars, and the Bullring of course.

The hotel is a short walk from New Street station, but away from the noise and bussel. The premier plus rooms are in the high rise part. The staff on reception and in the restaurant were great, friendly and with a sense of humor. The problem came with as part of a three night stay trying to get clean cups and glasses, despite placing a request before 10am at reception it was three requests later and 6pm before anything was done. I gave up on the request for a room clean.

Really easy and comfortable experience. Staff were helpful upon arrival, the room was spacious and clean and had everything for an overnight stay. Check in/out was simple and the location was perfect for central Birmingham and a close connection to New Street station.

A great nights sleep, the perfect location and great value for money. The restaurant was a fantastic choice for breakfast too.Would highly recommend staying at this Premier Inn , it is clean and modern, the staff were very friendly and attentive.

Nice quality room and bathroom. But terrible (unusable) wifi, which coupled with zero phone signal is bad. Feels like a deliberate move to encourage customers to purchase WiFi upgrade. Room was nice, especially for price but television is awfully cheap and basic

Check-in and check-out were smooth and hassle-free. The room was spacious, clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was also roomy and beautifully maintained. The location was ideal—close to everywhere we wanted to go. While there’s no on-site parking, a paid parking lot just a 2-minute walk away made things super convenient. We’d definitely stay here again when visiting Birmingham.
